You get jhud and you dont light her? You have a play about tv and segregation and you can't get lighting right?
Loving most of this production. Link is the weakest. Odd not chemistry with Short and Firestein? He barely tocuhes Edna.
Everyone else is nailing it. It looks like they're pushing it too hard with the production value though.

Jennifer Hudson: cut. print. Emmy.

It's unreal how alive her acting becomes when singing. She has such a natural gift.

Oh, that voice. And she brings it live. Flawlessly.

and immediately after JHud, they run that Apple ad where Frankenstein sings a Christmas Carol. I swear, NBC is trying to kill me.

Really thankful we didn't have to suffer thru a Darren Criss commentary after that performance.

I'm pretty impressed with Dove apparently she only attended a handful of rehearsals because she was filming something else. She's doing great.

Reminds me why I like theater. Just realized I have been watching and have been smiling the entire time. What can be better than that? :)

Is it me, or does that Hairspray can look like it's made out of plywood?

This finale is shot incredibly well. The extra large crowd adds to it.

Why does Penny's mom remind me of a cross between Aunt Eller and my mother-in-law?

The can just broke on live TV. How awkward?

J-Hud is killing it on "Big, Blonde, and Beautiful" right now.
This is seriously the most fun I've had watching TV in a while.

Audience immediately made the show better.

You Can't Stop The Beat has to be the most joyous songs to ever end a Broadway show. It never fails to thrill me....and cry a little when Link grabs Tracy and kisses her at the end.

Because it's perfect the way it is?

I'm glad they did because I love the original. I wish the tempo was picked up just little bit and truth be told Tracy just can't keep up with everyone else but still well done
