The in person lotto line is absurd. I've done it a few times to no avail, so at least now I can enter and lose without having to go through that madness.
Hell, I've won the lotto and still didn't want to go back to deal with that mess.
They could move it to outside the Marquis theater, on the third floor of the hotel if they would allow it, and then they could sell lotto loser seats to On Your Feet, or whatever show is in there.
Why would they allow that? People traipsing through to their space to promote someone else's show?
Pretty sure they've found their solution. and to whomever said they sent f2f bonk it will go back...you might be right.

Have rotten luck with digital lotteries. I can see where it could open it up more to people with jobs or school until 5 who couldn't make the early in person lottos but then I see the tweets from people who have seen it 4 times already who say they will now enter lottery every day. Some lotteries actually make it so that you can only win once every 30 days so more people can win but am sure this would be impossible for hamilton to enforce. Will still give it a try during my nyc trip next week but have a feeling I might have to wait until it comes to Boston several years from now...on its second or third tour since assume will probably sell out its first run too
With it being digital it would probably be easier to enforce a time limit, since there's no extra work of typing in names that were originally handwritten.
Also, with all the people called to win, not everyone would be able to confirm they can come in and actually pick up their tickets. Or some that won't be able to see their notifications in time.

I think that this is a good thing for Hamilton to be doing. As we are all well aware, it's been close to unsafe to not just enter the lotto but hell, even be near the area of the theatre when it's going on.
And, I think that this is even better that they are doing this via BroadwayDirect. I do like Todaytix, but have issues with the way that their lottos are run from a tech standpoint simply because they could, in theory, make way for cheating.
Its just time for Hamilton to transfer to Madison Square Garden.

Forget KK's oily ass... the Hamilton lottery may be the thing to break the internet. I'm getting only "the service is not availvable" this AM.

Yeah, the website can't handle the traffic. No surprise there.

I tried a few times and it didn't appear to be working, but I got a confirmation email. So if you can get to the entry screen, keep trying.

I got my confirmation, albeit a little delayed. So everyone be a Burr about it.
For me it said service was unavailable but I still received a confirmation email. So I guess I'm entered?

I got my confirmation, but when I click on it, it says "Service Unavailable". Has anyone successfully clicked through the confirmation email?

...Yes. That's what happened.
If you haven't gotten an email, or haven't been able to get through, keep trying. It's open until 4:00.
Plus, why is a birth date required? I hate to give out any information I consider extraneous. They really need our date of birth to enter a lottery?
