Buddy, the show has been open over a year in the West End, earning raves from everyone including the NYTimes. The show has a built in fanbase that it huge and will be seeing the show for years to come. Expect the Lyric to be occupied for the next 10 years, if not much more.

Isn't it the frontrunner for a number of Tonys? It swept the Oliviers."
Didn't Groundhog Day do well at the Oliviers? I still plan on seeing it. I saw Matilda and paid full price and I hated it which makes me nervous shelling out $800+ for 2 tickets. Not everything that plays well in the West End transfers well to Bway and vice versa.

So stressful when you only have one or two dates you can go on! Preview dates finally came up about 20 minutes ago. Paid $155 for row V orchestra. I tried the cheaper option, but there was nothing so got these as soon as they were offered.
After desperately searching on multiple devices for nearly 2 hours, I found 20 dollar seats for previews in March. They're for Thursday and Friday. Wish it was a Saturday double-header, but beggars can't be choosers.
Will Balcony G be a good seat? Anyone have an idea?

I gave up on the dates I wanted for previews when the red bars appeared over them. Went back and it seemed tickets opened up but still could not snag one. Also, a bit nervous that my card has not been charge yet. I usually get an e-mail notification from my bank not long after a purchase. Maybe they are waiting to submit at midnight.
I went back for kicks after being told that TM glitch was cleared up and after a long wait, I snagged a couple $20 seats in Center Balc Row G on a Tue/Wed in March. Thanks for the heads up, kind BWW poster who informed us of this fix!
It was incredibly frustrating to get to this point, but worth it for cheap tickets in a reasonable timeline. Was not looking forward to possibly waiting over a year. If you still have an unused code, keep looking.
I agree! Worst ticket buying experience ever! Plus, I purchase tickets for four of us, at $165 per part, and my daughter is saying that's too expensive. I honestly don't blame her, but the cheaper options were gone by the time I got there (12 p.m. batch).
