I detest this system. I spent so much time going through and clicking on yellow dates just for them to say they were sold out. This verified **** is garbage, there are still tons of tickets on stubhub. It prevents and does nothing but make it an annoyance for people to get tickets that they can still sell anyway. F*CK ticketmaster.
I hope I can win the friday lotto and ill be like everyone else and sell these to pay for the rest of the shows I see all year. So annoyed."
No offense, BroadwayJoe, but you don't have to be like everyone else and put them on Stub Hub. Please be better... you can offer them here to someone else who has been equally frustrated and shut out at face value, or return them to TM so they go back into the pool. Or even see if you can make a fair trade. That's my plan, anyway.
I am stil on there hoping some people release tickets. I did not want to pay over $300 for the show. And you do not get to pick they just send you a message here are your seats. Row Y for 2 seats $703.

This is going to be worse than the Hamilton lotto so I have 0 chance on winning it, I'm not worried about it lol
I'm sad to hear everyone's bad experiences. I was fully expecting a sh**show, but it was super easy for me. I had the 11am slot so that must have help exponentially. I looked at quite a few dates and released a lot of tickets. Ended up with Sat Oct 13th OrchLF Row G. total for 2 tickets was $800. It will be an event I'm sure!
Good luck to all still trying to get tickets - sending positive vibes out your way!

I'm a little jealous. I couldn't find anything closer than Orchestra row O on the aisle, but I also wanted to go sooner rather than later, so I didn't look past the first week of April. I sat much closer in London (and for cheaper), so as long as I don't feel like I'm a block away from the stage I'm satisfied with the tickets.
I definitely wish I had better seats (or worse seats that were cheaper), but I'm just happy to have a ticket. I will however be constantly checking for returns and see if I'm able to upgrade or downgrade. Part of me is hopeful that they truly want to try and offer the best view from all seats. They could've easily kept the center section of seats in the orchestra and made even more money, but they took it out for the production's sake and I like to believe for the audience's sake. That could all be wrong, but whatever I like being hopeful.
Officially sold out so don't waste your time waiting on standby, just got this email...
Due to overwhelming demand, all tickets released today have now been sold.
From February 8, 2018 at 11am ET, further tickets will be released as and when available and will not require an Access Code to purchase. Please return here at 10:30am ET on Thursday, February 8 to join the ‘Virtual Waiting Room’ for the best chance to purchase tickets when they are released. Queue numbers will be randomly assigned to those in the Virtual Waiting Room.
You can join the Virtual Waiting Room any time from 10:30am until 11am; it will not affect which Queue Number you receive. The randomization of the Queue at 11am is to enable the purchase of tickets to be fair as possible, and to protect our customers from bots and ticket scalpers.
If you join the Queue after 11am when tickets are released, Queue numbers will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
If you are unsuccessful in securing tickets, we advise that you keep checking the website as returned tickets and late-release tickets will become available regularly via our official ticketing partner, Ticketmaster, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Future presales for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Lyric Theatre in New York, will be announced soon. For further information, and to be among the first to know more, sign up to the official newsletter here.
Does anyone know how high up the numbers on each side of the front orchestra goes (odd one side, even the other). Also just received email that all tickets are now gone.
Is anybody concerned by the lack of confirmation email? They charged my credit card and never emailed me, fan support twitter is unresponsive and I have no idea what my next step is

I received a confirmation email almost immediately, and the order shows up on my Ticketmaster account. I would call them, but I'd recommend waiting a bit, since I'm sure there are plenty of people who are also having issues.

I pulled up 25-27 a few times and let them go cause I thought it was too far to the extreme side for the price.
I got the Something Went Wrong, Something Went Wrong, Access Code Has Already Been Used to Complete a Purchase. It wasn't showing up in my orders, but I put in my CC #, phone, country, and NY and got an order number (clicked on it and went to another error message). I put the order number, my email, and phone into a DM at TMfanSupport Twitter to ask if valid and got a response in about 5 minutes. It's valid and should show up in 24-48 hours. They also said I should get a confirmation email in that same timeframe.
