And I'd love to see some duets of anonymous classifieds.
The personals ads would be the best. My friends and I entertain ourselves reading the "I saw you..." ads. Yes, we're a strange lot.

If Philip Quast and Anthony Warlow wanted to team up and give it a bash, I'd even stretch to buying a premium seat. God bless the Aussies. ^_^

The late Richard Burton, George C. Scott, Robert Preston, Ethel Merman(singing). Living: Tyne Daly, Anthony Newley(with all his quirkiness).
The one thing these people have in common is an incredible stage presence--they own the stage when they are on.

I spent 110 dollars to see Julia Roberts, which was like listening to her read the phonebook
But I might do it for Judi Dench or Norbert.

Posted: 4/7/07 at 2:04pmIan McKellen opened his performance of A KNIGHT OUT by reading a long entry from Roget's Thesaurus, complete with lots of onomatopoeia. Not only was the audience riveted, but it also served as a fairly complete vocal warm-up for the evening's performance.

In the darkness, the trees are full of starlight

Wow. What a strange question...I don't know if I'd really want to pay to see anyone.
But I guess Norbert Leo Butz could make that pretty entertaining...
