So are we expecting a tour, an angel investor, or RTmis to become a legitimate, in real life kpop group? Because 2/3 of those will just result in more money lost honestly. Anyway, if anybody happens to have a spare ticket to get rid of for $20, Ill go see it. Why not, I don't see much harm in paying as much as a movie for this, the entertainment will probably be the same anyway
I think sometimes the American public is not open to paying to seeing shows like Bombay Dreams or KPOP. I feel like they will go to see certain ethnicities and not others. But that's just my point of view. The Britney Spears show, will probably be a hit and the funny thing is that KPOP sounds just like her type of music, songs you can hear in jukebox musicals like Moulin Rouge or &Juliet.

I remember going to see Bombay Dreams and they had a ton of tickets available and Wicked, about an American story, was sold out all the time back in 2003 just around the corner.

For all intents and purposes ... give us an extension! Though I realize that's not how the world works. I can dream."
But did you buy tickets? That's how a show stays open.

Oh, that tiktok broke my heart. I paid $90 to see it and it was worth it, but I think todaytix has cheap tickets also.

Yes, but Bombay Dreams was awful.

I did not unfortunately — I am a last minute traveler so I was quite literally planning on purchasing either yesterday or today save the closing notice. Just bought tix for all my other shows though.

DO nominators also get to vote? (A real question!)
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

Last night was absolutely wonderful. The theatre was completely full to standing room and you could FEEL the love in that room. There was even a brief stopdown during RTMIS’ final number (not sure what happened since everything looked like it was going okay). From that point forward, it was a screaming, cheering madhouse. When F8 performed, the applause quite literally moved them all to tears, including Timothy Lee, who was on as Timmy X (and I think it was his debut in the role).
They all came out the stage door, including Luna. About half signed, half did not (incl. Luna). NOTE: I say this not that anyone is obligated to do so, but for the reference of the curious. I had a great conversation with Abraham Lim and he remembered me from all the times I came (in his words) “because you’re so tall”. He gave me a hug and I wished him the best.

I was there, too! Amazing energy and the first time I've seen the show with a full house (and SRO along the rails)! Such a shame that it took a closing notice for people to show up for this cast; many of them were moved to tears by the thunderous applause and standing ovations (plus obviously the impending closing). I'll be there to see the show off on closing night and may shed a tear or two as well for this talented, hardworking group.
The RTMIS stop during "Gin & Tonic" was abrupt; Min almost tripped because the stage didn't fully extend out like it was supposed to. Seems like the stage has been giving them issues since previews.

I hadn’t seen it since before opening so I thought the stop was something they added since it was so seamless and it took a second or two to click.
Side Note: I know none of it will fit me, but I wish I could just raid the costume closet of that show. My gay ass would be in HEAVEN

Finally was able to shake loose a time to see the show a third and final time this Friday. Annoyed that I couldn't get my usual front and center (without paying premium) but thrilled they are selling and i could at least still get in. Still crushed about this closing, but so glad the cast is getting the adulation they deserve.
"Hey little girls, look at all the men in shiny shirts and no wives!" - Jackie Hoffman, Xanadu, 19 Feb 2008
I feel terrible for the cast & creatives. All those years of development and the producers couldn’t figure out how to market this show.

I know this is a long shot but any chance anyone has an extra ticket to the Sunday closing show? I also had tickets through non-telecharge and they were cancelled and refunded as well.
