There is an entirely different thread on who will be on as Seymour when Groff is out. Prices are not that expensive considering it's a small house and limited availability. That is why ticket prices would be so high.

That's going to be a hell of a rush, especially if it's like Rent where rush seats are front row (as far as I'm aware, this production hasn't made the very front available to buy, right?)

because that’s totally the production, fault and not because it’s an old theatre by any means"
Why aren't they protesting #DateMe, which is playing there right now? This just seems to just be building off the hype of the show. I mean all theaters should be wheelchair accessible, especially if they are built/redesigned recently, but it was constructed in the 19th century. You can't fault a building for not being designed for our current needs, nonetheless when a redesign would take years and cost a lot. The theatre should consider it, but it's not an easy fix.
Edit: I just looked up and the Downstairs Theatre at Westside, where #DateMe compared to Little Shop Upstairs, is wheelchair accessible. Still, it seems like this is more of a theatre issue rather than an issue with the show. Might be good to get this out there for people wanting to see this show/shows in the future, but I doubt the theatre is clueless to this issue.

Not sure why the show having "huge stars and wide appeal" is significant. So it's not discrimination if it's a wheelchair inaccessible theater housing one of the many undersold off-Broadway shows? I'm rolling my eyes so hard.
if anyone has an update from todays Box Office Opening, please let me know. I should be there around 1030 and hope it isn't so crazy that i get shut out of the limited number of dates Im able to attend
Got here around 11:15. Probably 30th(?) in line. That is if the kids in line aren’t here for the scalpers to use as a way to purchase an additional 6 tickets. Im definitely not getting a Venus fly trap though.

Nope. I’m the kid in the line and I’m here alone buying two tickets for the first preview, so there’s no need to worry. Besides, they’re selling 180 tix so even if you were 30th you would still get.
