A very classy speech. Well said.

Well deserved boos, remind me of the final scene in the film Dangerous Liasons. Nice job by cast at curtain call.

He's going to be the next VP of the USA...try to show a little bit of respect at least. I would have been honored and privileged to have been at the show with him tonight.

Sigh. Well I guess it made them feel good. Personally, I have no tolerance for grandstanding w/out real action.
Seriously, u think Pence cares? Sticks and Stones- he'll break bones, these words will never hurt him.

The only person who deserves that honor and privilege is John Wilkes Booth. Eff that pos.

Exactly what respect does the gay who wants to electrocute gays and force women who have exercised their legal right to terminate a pregnancy bury the fetus deserve? Please enlighten me.

What about when you have done "real action" but you still end up in a room with this guy? Did you expect people to leave for 2.5 hours to leave voicemails to their representatives instead of sitting and seeing a show they bought tickets to before the first debate even happened?
When you're in a theatre for a relatively short amount of time compared to the action you can (and maybe did) during a campaign, booing is what you have left.

And what about that speech was remotely disrespectful? All I saw was class and graciousness on the part of Brandon and the entire cast. Not that he deserved any of it.

Even if he didn't really care, you have to admit it would have been really uncomfortable for him to have to sit through the boos, and the speech at the end. Personally, I would have joined in the boos, and I'm glad he got called out.

I didn't say the cast..although there wasn't a public plea to change appointed officials when other politicians showed up...

Now why might that be?

Maybe they didn't want to call out the FBI investigation that was ongoing for their candidate? Not sure...
If any Republican politician showed up at Hamilton, y'all would be up in arms regardless.
^ That's absurd. Mike Pence is one of the most homophobic legislators alive today.

Thanks for the tip. If I ever have the chance I'll be sure to shove Mike Pence into the path of incoming traffic, hopefully it'll be a heavy vehicle that 'breaks his bones'
God knows that asshole deserves that and worse

Off the top of my head Cheney has been to Hamilton. I'm blanking on other Republicans.
It is qwhite amusing to see how many of you care about Pence's feelings. I'm sorry that I can't get all the worked up when a man who has willfully caused harm to countless people gets his fee-fees hurt because some people booed him. You don't get to do vile things and expect to be treated with respect.

I don't think people would boo McCain, Graham, Haley, Collins, Paul. I even think George W would get begged to come back at this point.

I thought that the Bush family (at least GW) did. Especially since he did the Hamilton doc. Then again, Ryan also do the doc but I don't think he has seen the show...
^^^ I think Laura and one or both daughters went, not sure about George

Okay, that was the line back there and it's been crossed. Government DOES find stuff like this. Please be careful.

MANY Republican politicians have seen the show and were not booed. IVANKA has seen the show. Mike Pence is the VP elect for goodness sake who is also extremely homophobic after one of the most divisive election ever.
He knew what to expect. I don't blame the audience for booing. The cast was classy.
So happy about this speech, so professional, so honest and so true. I really hope tonight had a impact on Pence, prob not tho. I really hope he realizes that he just witness not only a gay, HIV positive in a total role in a huge musical but also a Latino, and a cast of many other different ethnicities. It was nice to see the wings on stage too. but i have a question, Why the hell did Pence see Hamilton?!?!
