I was looking on a weekday and saw Row Q for $279ish before fees. To me, that's insane to be asking for Hamilton and The Book of Mormon prices 7 months before the first preview. Even Hamilton and The Book of Mormon didn't ask for that much when they started! I can't imagine those prices are going to last much longer without a course correction.

I second this inquiry. Debating between the $179 seats which look like either Row G Center Mezz or the far side and rear orchestra.
Leaning towards Mezz Row G as I think the Hirschfield theater is one of the better Mezzanines on Bway. Any input is appreciated."
I was in 5th row mezz in Boston and it was perfect

In Boston, I sat in the dress circle, and I can't imagine seeing the show from under an overhang. Go with the mezzanine.

Go with the mezzanine. The set itself is a spectacle - I wouldn’t want the overhang cutting into that even a little bit. I saw the show twice in Boston, first from the front mezz and then from the diamond cabaret seating. Would definitely recommend if you haven’t seen the show before to do the mezz seating to get the fullest picture of the stage.

Tried for a $99 seat to first or second preview and the best price was around $200 so I gave it a miss.
Crazy money for previews.
The pricing for this show is infuriating. I saw it twice in Boston and loved it. Wanted to go see an early preview in NY, and all the decent seats are $299-$399, including front rows in the mezzanine. How can most of the theatre be premium seating? I haven't seen pricing like this since Hamilton. Seems like producers are being incredibly optimistic about how popular this will be and taking advantage of ticket buyers.

Seemingly the Mezz are good seats because of the overhang but for a preview $400 is obscene.
I got my seats during the fan presale a few weeks ago, but just went on Ticketmaster as I was curious about the general public pricing. I actually had to wait a few minutes in a digital waiting room before it let me look at a performance. Haven’t seen that on Ticketmaster except for Hamilton on-sales...
Man that 20 sec preview brought me right back to Boston. Can't wait for this to debut! Going to be a great addition to the Bway

DAMN STRAIGHT. I literally said "Wait...that's IT??" And realized it did exactly what it was supposed to do! I still hope they make the necessary changes, because this has every potential to be LIT AF!!
Pricing for this is crazy. All of front mezz is $349. I don't mind paying full price (159-ish) for tickets, but this is nuts. Going to take a pass on this show unless there are discounts or a realignment of pricing. There were lots of seats available for the post-opening dates I was looking at.

I agree it's very expensive. I got Mezz Left row L for $179. The most I plan to spend on a show this year but the Mezz at the Hirschfield is great and for this show, really immersive. I recommend it but I obviously can't force you

We are just under seven months out from the first Preview Show on Broadway, so I’m wondering, as more hype hits the airwaves, how much of a realignment of pricing we should expect, if any at all? And at what point will discounts be offered? After Labor Day 2019? I imagine all of the “cheap seats” will slowly be snatched up for the show’s first six months (at least through Christmas 2019) fairly quickly once get into the new year and everyone’s done with their Christmas shopping.

That's incorrect. I just purchased row H Front Mezz (center aisle) for $139. The next few rows down (E, F, G) are $159.

Got my tix for August! As long as Madonna doesn't announce a 2019 tour, my entertainment budget will be in tact

If you want to call Row H "front mezz" be my guest. I don't consider it to be so regardless of how it is stated on Ticketmaster. Most of the first 6 or so rows, if not all, are premium priced at $349 post opening.
Just a quick question...do you think they will be selling souvenirs and window cards during the Preview Run on Broadway?

Yes, very likely. I was at the first preview performance in Boston and they had everything from window cards, to magnets, mugs. t-shirts and tote bags.
^ ^ ^ THANK YOU! :)

I'm betting the merch will be re-designed a little bit too. Though I do like the window card they did for the Boston tryout, I must admit.
Also, that advertising teaser was slick; I can't wait to see what they'll do for the rest of the series, since I'm guessing we'll get teasers entitled "Freedom," "Truth," and "Love."
Ticket prices are outrageous! As much as I was looking forward to seeing this, one has to draw the line somewhere...and this show is it for me. Due to my husband's work schedule, the only night of the week that works for us is Saturday. I was looking for first row front mezz, which is considered premium seating. Fine. I've shelled out for premium seats in the past for many shows, including Dolly and The Cher Show, which we're seeing Saturday night. But I refuse to pay over $800 for a pair of tickets for a show with no big names and mixed out-of-town reviews. My loss, I suppose. But I'll get over it. And have $800 to spare and spend elsewhere.
So what's the show's rush policy, because I ain't paying these ticket prices!
I agree, the prices are a bit too much. Having enjoyed the show in Boston, I was (and to be fair, still am) looking forward to seeing it again, but it's going to cost me a fortune if I want to sit in a similar seat, which was front mezzanine - it's now twice as expensive...
I do hope they make changes before it hits Broadway. Add some more sparkle to the Act 1 Finale (the visuals are cute, but I feel it needs to end with a bang/pyrotechnics, similar to the film), add The Show Must Go On for Zidler, fine-tune Roxanne (I wanted more Satine & Duke vs Christian juxtaposition, rather than just have Satine walk across the back of the stage) and fix that emotionless death scene.
Any gossip on the upcoming workshop/cuts/changes? It's such an incredible creative team, and I hope they realise that all the show needs now is a bit more depth. It has so much potential, and I hope it finds an audience...
I did want to see this again, but agree that the prices are too much. $99 for the last row of the mezzanine during the week and $159 on Saturdays is a bit steep. I liked it, but not enough for those prices. The only time I did spend that much money for that kind of seat was for Come From Away in its 1st 6 months. But, that ended up being worth it.
