In-person box office opens September 22 with a special 2-for-1 tix offer all day, 10 AM - 6 PM.

Also, the website has updated the key art on the homepage and on all socials...it's giving Texas-tinged Gap ad imo, not unlike THE OUTSIDERS.

Agreed. The new art looks like the regional theater version; not bad just generic.

apparently WANTED is experiencing a 6 million dollar shortfall in their budget due to a general partner withdrawing....this show is in danger

They had a 2-for-1 deal at the box office today which had a lot of rules that were not advertised. Regardless I was able to get a couple of center mezz seats for about $60 a pop. Now let’s just hope that rumor about the investor pulling out isn’t true so I get to actually see it.

Investors pulling out and co-producers not being able to raise their full commitment may be a new norm, considering the slimness of recoupment chances.

Wanted has P3 as its sole announced lead producer, and Fiona Rudin (one of its principals) could bankroll the entire thing if she wanted to. Barry & Fran are also exec producing, though idk if they ever had plans to invest.

I loathe that marquee. That just looks terrible. It's like it's trying to be a CW drama or something?

This. I can understand why, in these times, having “gun” in the title of a new musical might make producers and patrons a bit skittish. However, with danger also comes intrigue and so they may have missed out on patrons who might have had their interest piqued by the title
