It’s safe to assume the teaser trailer (NOT the first trailer) will be shown on one of the commercial spots during the Academy Awards/Oscars on March 10, 2024.  

Here’s hoping it has some footage and not just a minute of a flash of a witch hat, and a wand, and the back of Cynthia and Ariana’s heads then the title WICKED: Part 1 flashing on the screen.

Grace Randolph is a nutcase who publicly tried floating that there was a secret cabal within Disney to oust Kathleen Kennedy. 

According to Daniel Richtman, a trailer of some kind is complete. He doesn't know if it'll be released tomorrow, but there is one ready.

Just my thoughts, but I could see a "teaser" during the Super Bowl and a Trailer during the Oscars.

Here’s the teaser trailer for the 2006 film adaptation of DREAMGIRLS. Expect the WICKED: Part 1 teaser trailer to resemble this idea:

 

I suspect there will be footage from the film, otherwise they wouldn't have bothered telling the production team it was happening.

Well, it just happened. About a 30 second montage. Wasn't too impressed with the snippet of the last note of Defying Gravity. But this looks HUGE.

That was enjoyable. Wish it showcased more singing though.
