It’s safe to assume the teaser trailer (NOT the first trailer) will be shown on one of the commercial spots during the Academy Awards/Oscars on March 10, 2024.  

Here’s hoping it has some footage and not just a minute of a flash of a witch hat, and a wand, and the back of Cynthia and Ariana’s heads then the title WICKED: Part 1 flashing on the screen.

I just saw on tiktok that Hot Topic is releasing Wicked movie logo shirts on Monday, so wouldn’t that indicate something happening at the superbowl?

Is this actually going to happen on Sunday? Variety and Grace Randolph are hinting a possibility but Deadline heard a no.

According to Daniel Richtman, a trailer of some kind is complete. He doesn't know if it'll be released tomorrow, but there is one ready.

Just because the DREAMGIRLS teaser doesn't show any actual footage of the film other's do.   Here's the teaser for 2012's LES MISERABLES:

I suspect there will be footage from the film, otherwise they wouldn't have bothered telling the production team it was happening.

Well, it just happened. About a 30 second montage. Wasn't too impressed with the snippet of the last note of Defying Gravity. But this looks HUGE.

That was enjoyable. Wish it showcased more singing though.
