Does anyone know why Foster would be getting backlash when she said she'd leave The Music Man if something wasn't done about Rudin--and then change occurred? What does this have to do with "white supremacy" (which is a silly, infantile charge to make against American theater--easily the most inclusive and most liberal business operating in the United States)?"
The only thing I can think of is people putting too much weight on public social media posts and not giving people the benefit of the doubt that they are working towards change behind the scenes. I think Sutton threatening to walk is industry gossip that was then published in THR, Deadline, etc. and not something Sutton publicly exclaimed.
