The Wedding Singer was a great stage door experience...highlights were Kevin Cahoon, Tina Maddigan and Stephen Lynch. I also met Rita Gardner, Richard H. Blake, Eric LaJuan Summers (ensemble member, I loved him as Fake Tina Turner), Matthew Saldivar and Amy Spanger, all of whom were very accomodating.
Constantine Maroulis on the other hand, ugh. Not a time I look on fondly...

Raul Esparza was incredibly nice, as were Gary Beach, Roger Bart, and Michael Cerveris. The entire cast of Les Mis was extremely nice as well.

"I'm tired of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're going and meet up with them later." -Mitch Hedberg
Ditto with the Julia Murney. Alexander Gemignani I met Monica Lewinsky after Threepenny (HAHA!) when she exited the stage door. She was really nice. Probably nicer than anyone else in the cast at the stage door, aside from Cyndi Lauper. She was adorable and friendly. Also, Bebe Neuwirth; maybe shocking, but she was a complete sweetheart to my friend and I. A class act, that one.
Wedding Singer cast- Kevin Cahoon, Nicolette Hart, Christina Sivrich, Spencer Liff, Tina Maddigan, Robyn Hurder, and especially Felicia Finley. Okay, basically everyone.
I've stopped stage dooring recently. I've hit an awkward phase.
"I'll cut you, Tracee Beazer!!!!
...Just kidding. I'd never cut anyone." -Tina Maddigan, 9/30/06, WS stage door

I'm thinking about legally changing my name to Lizzie Curry...
I never met anyone at a stage door that was less than nice (except Amanda Peet), but if I had to choose I guess I would give the blue ribbon to Donna Lynne Champlin. She's just so friendly. You could say something stupid and random to her about cheese or Pugs and I bet she'd still stop in her tracks and give you an amiable response that would last for at least a minute or two.
The entire cast of The Wedding Singer- even Constantine was nice to my friends and I and joked around when we took pictures with him.
Tim Howar- had a good 10 minute conversation with my friend about pursuing acting, he was so sweet and encouraging.
Caren Lyn Manuel- after signing autographs and pictures for everybody who wanted, she came over to my group of friends and I and told us she didn't want to leave yet just in case anyone else wanted to see her. We hung out with her for a little while, having a bunch of random chats, and she was hilarious.

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

He not only introduced me to the other cast members as they came out the door, he then introduced me to his wife who was waiting for him! The dear man could teach a class.

I know you guys will roll your eyes when I say this, but.....Kristin Chenoweth really WAS the nicest. She was incredibly personable and seemed to genuinely care about all the fans waiting to see her. Also, Stephen DeRosa from Hairspray. He was so funny, telling girls he loved their hair, blouse, and nails. haha
Never met them at a stage door, but Susan Egan and Norbert Leo Butz are both incredibly nice and friendly and they chatted for awhile.
"In the rain, the pavement shines like silver
All the lights are misty in the river
In the darkness, the trees are full of starlight
And all I see is him and me forever and forever."
The enter cast of Sweeney Todd (not counting Patti who didn't come out). Mark Jacoby was fun to talk to, Lauren Molina "scolded" one of my friends for not wearing a hat (it was freezing and my friend's hair looked wet from gel)
Tommar Wilson at Hairspray - he was happy to see a few familiar faces from the Lestat stagedoor
Sandra Joseph
Greg Jbara
Pretty much the entire Lestat cast - especially Carolee Carmello and Jim Stanek
Hugh Panaro - the first time I met him after Phantom, I was chatting with a tourist and her daughter, long after the cast had left following a matinee. He'd gone out the front to run and errand and was returning. He could've walked past us and we'd never have noticed. But he came over, asked if we were looking for someone, and chatted with us a long time.
I have to say both Marin and Stokes are incredibly gracious. Sokes especially has a heart that is so open.
Now that I think of it Audra has always been sweet. I remember after her Carnegie Hall concert she came outside about 40 mins after the end and apologized profusely because she didn't think anyone was waiting. Then this woman sort of ambushed her wnd asked her to sign about 10 different playbills and took about 5 pictures. She then came and held conversations with about 10 different people. Students called people on the phone and she talked to them. She stayed for a good half hour talking and signing. You could tell she was exhausted too. Then she left to catch a red eye to Michigan to do a concert the next day. She could have used another exit claiming she needed rest but she found spending time with people important.
