I think Beck Bennett is the cutest boy to ever walk the earth. I think Aidy Bryant may be my favorite cast member. And I thought Kerry was great.

I realized last night that Beck is the new AT&T guy who I've had a crush on for months.
I might need to stalk 30 Rock next weekend...

Yes! He had a brief role in the new season of Arrested Development, too. I love him.
I really enjoyed this episode. Kerry was amazing, loved her accents, makes me want to check out her show!
It was great to finally see Jay Pharoh in more than one skit as well!
Not a Gaga fan at all. Thought she was doing pretty well tonight, but that performance (of a catchy song) was just bizarre.
Loved the opening and the Obama ad. Ditto for Grandpa Weekend Update.
Loved the bitchy Speech Critic on Weekend Update.Probably one of the funniest skits I have seen in a long time.
God, they just really need new writers. Does every episode now have a skit where they cram like 50 celebrity impressions in?
Anyway, I think Gaga's doing a good job. She sounds a bit tired, but she did really well in both performances so far. "Gypsy" is one of my favorite songs off her new album.
Very good episode. Nearly every sketch was at least somewhat funny. Gaga was pretty good.
Gaga is serving some Grandma Yetta realness in this sketch.
Why do I get the feeling Lorne has been talking to his mispachah in Toronto? Seriously, the Rob Ford stuff was almost as good as Tina's Sarah Palin.
Gaga was also pretty good too.

Laughed at every sketch. Gaga was game for anything and has a sense of humor about herself. The speech critic got funnier with every passing moment. Gaga looked like Liza S the talent show mother.
Adele's "L.A. LAW" cover was the best thing of the entire night.
I also found the 2060 Lady Gaga sketch to be very sweet, when things like that can easily just turn into self serving tributes to whoever they're about.
Also, I really loved the Blockbuster bit. It almost made me cry lol
For those who missed it

I was in tears laughing during that! Brilliant!
Loved Gaga. I thought she was one of the better hosts this season.
Also loved tambourine man during "Gypsy"!

I thought she was pretty great for most of it. The her first musical number (not counting the fun "Applause" spoof at the beginning) was so bizarre that I didn't know what to make of it (plus, R. Kelley, ugh), but I liked that "Gypsy" performance.
I will be watching it today based on your recommendation Phylis.

I've concluded I like a grand total of three of her songs, and as an entity I find her a little trying, but as someone who is kind of predisposed to have not liked her on SNL, I can't really complain about the show. She seemed a little rushed and hammy during the monologue (before she sang), but I was impressed by her commitment in the sketches.

I like the films too, which are kind of Digital Shorts that they just aren't calling Digital Shorts.

It is widely known that I am not a Lady Gaga fan, primarily because of the ridiculous persona she has created, so that made last night's episode a little tough to stomach. But I did really enjoy the "Applause" spoof at the beginning. It was cute, she looked great, and sounded even better.
Here's video of her opening musical number: http://www.idolator.com/7493810/lady-gaga-snl-applause-monologue-saturday-night-live
Gaga is a terrible actress, but it was one of the better episodes. I loved the cold open ("Canadian" accents aside) especially the 60 minutes bit. And I did think Gaga's opening was surprisingly great.
I've mostly passed on the GaGa circus--someone had to explain the 'tuck' reference to me--but whenever our paths have crossed I have found her likable enough and a very strong performer.
It also struck me that her insane public persona may give her the ability to go to the corner for a cup of coffee un-molested. I didn't recognize her at first in either the Kimye or the Talent Show sketch.

If you saw the time Madonna couldn't get two lines put the time she cameoed with Gaga on SNL, I think you need to recalibrate your definition of "terrible actress."
