they could potentially scale down the # of shows they do per day for the remainder of their run if there's a chance they can continue.

I would really love for shows to stop selling drinks and snacks for the winter so no one has an excuse to be sitting there with their mask down.

While I appreciate the optimism by the League and move not to shut down, if numbers continue to go up here (as they are exponentially by the day) things may change. I certainly hope not.

I really feel bad for people like yourself who are traveling from out of state to see a few shows and they get canceled. Sure, you can get your ticket refunded but you spent a bunch of money traveling and for a hotel and that can't be refunded. Crossing my fingers the shows you have tickets for are not canceled."
Thanks. I planned all this back in June. Had it been more recent I wouldn’t have with all we know now. I’ve dealt with cancellations before (was here when the blackout happened a few years ago). Honestly I just really hope I get to see Assassins. I’ve had tickets since it was originally announced and it’s the main reason I made this trip. I’ll be bummed if the others cancel but that’s the one that will really hurt"
Are you hopefully beating the odds on your scheduled shows?

A second sustained shutdown would be ruinous to even the shows that have been managing to keep their heads above water.

Agreed. I was frankly shocked that they didn’t wait to phase that aspect of the experience back in later after reopening.

Had tickets where I live in Miami for March 2020, cancelled 1 show in due to covid. The INSTANT Hamilton went on sale last April, we bought for tomorrow night, perfect seats, row F 107 and 108 dead center. Counted down the months, weeks, days. Flew up from Florida. Boom cancelled. My wife and I are in a hotel room in midtown literally crying.

This would be me. I would also be crying if my Hamilton show gets cancelled after traveling that far. I know you were looking forward to Hamilton, but I do hope there is another show you can see tomorrow instead so you can still enjoy your time in NYC.

So far. Lehman Trilogy tonight seems like a go. Flying Over Sunset and Assassins tomorrow. Supposed to see Hadestown Sunday, which looks like it could be in trouble, but I’ve seen it multiple times so it would be the one I’m most okay with cancelling

Just got here today! :/ Planned this trip a couple months ago when things seemed stable, but decided to wait to buy tickets for most of the weekend til I was here, so the only tickets I have right now are Flying Over Sunset tomorrow night, and Waitress + Company + Assassins starting Monday. I would have just cancelled everything if the hotel wasn't nonrefundable. Vaxxed, boosted, double masked, getting takeout and crossing my fingers I don't pick up COVID while I'm here... if any of the shows even end up happening. This sucks so much for everyone.
