She’s been back this week. Looks like Julie isn’t permitted to post about her performances anymore so her heads-up have stopped. Ephie doesn’t go on unless Julie can’t.

To be fair, I think the Daily Beast article is what put an end to it. If it hadn't been so publicly revealed that Beanie was bothered by Julie's updates, I doubt they would've stopped. It's probably just a gesture by the production to save face, and spare her feelings a little in these last weeks.
Pure speculation on my part, but I suspect that, at this point, Beanie's plan is to stay under the radar, finish her run, and move on to her next project.

What an utter disaster. Who is gonna hire this neurotic mess? Will medical journals interview her for her heroic triumph over "tonsilitis" and her Olympian return to the "stage"?

Like the old joke goes:
“How was the restaurant?”
“Awful! The food was barely edible. And such small portions!”
Jokes aside though, do we have any real-life indication that Feldstein is responsible for Benko’s lack of tweets? I’ve heard of producers implementing rules like that in the past, but I think they rarely bother with it nowadays because they figure it doesn’t make much of a tangible difference. But given the circumstances, I can understand the producers feeling incentivized to put a stop to it.
If I missed some genuine piece of evidence that the decision came from Feldstein, then please correct me. Otherwise, this strikes me as yet another malicious assumption that people now seem to be immediately accepting as fact.

I seriously doubt it. They're just looking for an excuse to bag on Beanie.
I am willing to bet house seats to Lea's first performance that no one can confirm Beanie has responsibility.
Logically, producers are not keen on the info being out there because it is demonstrable that when people know in advance it increases the number of returns. So yes some producers are chilling the social media thing, without help from other actors.
A longtime board friend, who now posts less often, simply stopped reading Funny Girl posts circa the week before the Tonys. I recommend it to anyone upset by whatever is perceived to be unfairly disparaging content.

I am in the theatre & will finally get to make up my mind for myself, instead of reading all the nastiness on this forum."
And while seeing for yourself is always best, it's not like the critics liked her and that its just posters here.
I do not personally know anyone (most NOT board members) that have enjoyed either Beanies performance or the production.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I saw her tonight to form an opinion for myself. She was...good. Certainly not worthy of all the vitriol here, but also certainly not worthy of leading the Funny Girl revival. She is likeable and has good comedic timing. There were some real gem moments. But the singing, which of course for this show should be spectacular, was not great. I'm glad I saw her to make up my own mind and since I will not see Lea, I'm good with seeing it now. The audience had disproportionate love for her and the show and it's hard to tell if people know about the drama and are trying to make up for it, or just really don't know what it should be and are reacting to it being Beanie Feldstein and the first Funny Girl revival. Anyway, I wouldn't go back and see it again.

I think that’s the general review. She’s fine. But this is Broadway.
and reading all the articles it seems like beanie felt she wasn’t “supported by the producers” on her days off when Benko performed. Which is a weird thing to say

Of course not. Its the usual suspects, making it up as they go along. Its kinda sad how many people here seem to genuinely enjoy the manufactured vitriol.

The latter. Audiences have been reacting to her that way from the beginning.
