I've been away from the board for many months and only now catching up. It was hilarious with the news already announced to go back and read this thread from the very beginning and seeing so many people accuse the poster who first announced it was Beanie of wishful dreaming etc and how it could absolutely, not possibly be her. Thanks for the early heads up to the one who first put it here! And thanks for your accuracy. She broke my heard in LadyBird and am looking forward to seeing her take on the role.

If we purchased tickets online.. is it possible to go to the August Wilson and pick up physical tickets?

Based on another thread about obtaining physical tickets at box offices, it seems if you huff and puff and stand firm they will eventually give in and print you your tickets.  It’ll come with eye rolls and managers being summoned but they’ll eventually print your tickets.

I would've liked to have seen Shoshana Bean. Or Jessie. I saw a video of Shoshana singing "Don't Rain on my Parade" and she nailed it.

Would be great and helpful if Beanie started to promote the show and herself as a leading lady by giving some small venue concerts to showcase her singing talents. I would love to attend.

A friend who takes voice lessons from Joan Lader says Beanie is using Lader’s services right now in prep for FUNNY GIRL so I think it’s safe to assume we will have a vocally improved Beanie when the revival begins.

‘Helpful’ implies that it would be beneficial to ticket sales and do more than appease a very small handful of theatre queens, who live alone with their mothers.

I had thought a Saturday night in awards season would be a sure bet for seeing her... Does anyone know if she is out the entire weekend of April 29, 2022? This the weekend I'm planning my trip for. Or maybe it's when her standby goes on?

Just received an email from Jujamcyn Theaters stating that Beanie would not be performing at the performance I purchased tickets to for May 1st. No other info was given. Offered an exchange, I opted for a refund.

Just received an email from Jujamcyn Theaters stating that Beanie would not be performing at the performance I purchased tickets to for May 1st.

I got a similar email.  She's out April 30th too.  And right before Tony nominations too!

Looks like our trip may be a bust.

Weird time to be out. Glad I got my tickets for the week before. No matter how she ends up being or how I expect her to do, I do want to see her performance.

Maybe she has an obligation to a filming schedule or press schedule? Or if it's a weekend it could be a personal matter too.

Unlikely. To me, it looks like they might be getting ready to announce an alternate schedule, which will probably include all Saturday matinees, and that will come in a separate announcement.
