T_N, why would you go through the trouble of calling hellob's post "incredibly misinformed" nine minutes after that situation had basically been resolved? It's not like your posts crossed and you wouldn't have seen it.
Hi Lizzie.
I actually did not see it, but thanks for the clarification. It's much appreciated.

If you pay too much attention to what you read here you'll end up believing that the grass is blue and the sky is green. (Or if you're reading After Eight, that the sky is falling.)
I do think there was some (Riedel-fueled) gossip about Odom not getting along with the production but I think if you read things he said in the last week or so it is clear he hopes to be back at some point somewhere. Also, re the show-is-star thing, I think that's not really about actors and their egos but about audiences and their perceptions. I feel certain they want to follow the Chorus Line/Book of Mormon path and avoid the Producer's Lane/Broderick fiasco.

What do they mean?
Sorry for the delay, guys, but does this board have a hair trigger or what? San Francisco has events other than Hamilton 2017 that Daveed is allowed to participate in. http://www.sfemf.org/archive/sfemf-2016/

Some trivia: July 11 is the 212th anniversary of the Burr-Hamilton duel!
Did anybody say they were going to tonight's show? So eager to hear how Lexi is as Eliza.

^ I was just wondering the same thing- I want to hear reports about Lexi! :)
Lin tweeted that he watched act 1 tonight (first day of the show since he left and he's already going back to it to watch xD) and said she was "FLAWLESS"- not that he would ever give a negative report anyway though :)

My brother saw it tonight, and he had never seen it before, so he couldn't really compare but he said she had great chemistry with Javier and her voice sounded phenomenal.

Someone I know saw the show and said that Lexi played Eliza younger and more innocent than Phillipa. They also posted a picture of the cast board and Michael Lluwoye isn't on there. Miguel Cervantes is however.

So he's either Jon Rua's replacement in the Hamilton understudy slot or maybe it's a test run before Chicago?
Who performed as Burr? I know Shuffle Along hasn't closed yet so I doubt Dixon was there.

I believe Sydney Harcourt and Austin Smith are alternating week by week, and Harcourt is on right now.
Munoz tweeted that he's playing this Saturday's matinee, so unless I've read this wrong (possible) this is somewhat confusing. I know because a friend is going -- tix for 10 months -- and she asked him point blank on Twitter.

What can anyone tell me about Smith's Burr? Seeing the show next week. I have to admit, Odom is the only one I'm bummed about not getting to see again.

Cervantes is a terrific performer. I saw him play Batboy in Boston back in 2002. brought the house down. He was also in the recent production of Giant at the Public.

It's probably more possible that this person in Dallas is wrong, but it's all very confusing regardless.
For what it's worth, Javier said on his FB fan page that he's "off Sundays and Mondays," which threw me off until I realized this includes their dark day.

Miguel is from Dallas so they may be friends. However, since Javi said his off days are Mondays (along with Sundays when they play them) but he went on last night, assume that Miguel will go on a different performance this week, say a Wednesday show, and then go on Monday (Javi's scheduled off day).
Who knows when Michael will go on as Hamilton, though...

sorano, if your "gossip" was that Miguel's going on Wednesday, you should've just said that in the first place.
Still no word from the production clarifying last week's release, huh?
Well, I guess Javier won't be on Sun 9/11 then? That's too bad, I really wanted to see him. Hopefully the alternate that day will be good.

They don't have Sunday shows at the moment, so we don't know.

Lin playing Burr on Wednesday. You heard it here first.

I don't necessarily doubt it but what would the purpose for this decision be?
???
Not that he'd need extensive rehearsing to go on as Burr, but if you look at his tweets, he's home with his kid relaxing. I seriously doubt he's about to randomly head on back to play another principal role for the heck of it...
