Broadway Joe said: That's really so rare nowadays though, they have it setup that the seller will actually have to put their credit card information in as well. You can't just sell fake tickets on stubhb and get away with it easily on stubhub. The system just doesn't work like that currently. Of course it's better to get them from the official site if you can but anyone who buys off stubhub shouldn't be worried about it."
It sounds like the poster wasn't talking about fake tickets being listed on StubHub, they were talking about resale tickets being flagged and invalidated. They did it in London and it was discussed here:
I don't know about the possibility of it happening for the Broadway production, though; it seems like they're being more flexible, considering you can transfer your tickets to someone else or return them.
I have a question for those who purchased during the last release, or even those who buy today at eleven. I just got my code and the website for 12. Do I have to sign into Ticketmaster first, or do I sign in after I go to the specific Harry Potter site? Or maybe not at all if the code is tied to my Ticketmaster account? Just looking to save a minute or two here. Thanks.

i would go to the link that was given to you in the email with the code. You will then be asked to sign into Ticketmaster.

Ok, thanks. I did try going to the site they sent me. Obviously I knew I wouldn't be able to sign in until my time, but I was hoping I'd see some instructions regarding signing into Ticketmaster there. There aren't any yet. It must unlock at my time, because right now it's a generic question and answer type site. Were you able to buy tickets last time for the price you had in mind?
I can't believe I'm letting myself get sucked into this again. Promised myself I wouldn't unless I got an actual time, yet here I will sit next to two phones hoping for a standby access code - despite that last time, I eventually got a standby code and everything was gone anyway!
The definition of insanity...doing the exact same thing over and over, expecting it to change.

I feel for you. This is going to be pandemonium.

What time is your code good? Your code doesn't start working until the time they gave you. 11 a.m. is the earliest.

Also, don't use an iPhone."
I'm currently using a HP laptop, and my code is for 11 A.M. but I had heard there is a line so I had joined it early in hopes of snagging the lower level tickets.
Even the general Ticketmaster site (not the HP-specific page) won't load at this point. I'm trying to get to the "Payment Options" page for my account and the status bar at the bottom just says "Waiting for...". This does not bode well.

Yikes! Could this be like the disaster of last time where nobody's would load? The snow may be effecting it too.

My window doesn't start until noon, though."
My window is at noon as well, and when I first went to the site it displayed the generic info page. I left it open in its own tab and about 15-20 minutes ago it suddenly displayed a popup for code entry. At first it said the code was incorrect, but eventually it accepted it and changed to the "..." animation, which is what several of us are getting now.

My page used to have the option to enter a code, but I refreshed and now that option is no longer there. Does it think I already used my code or something? Will the box pop up again when my window opens at 11? I FEEL INSANE.
Thanks to someone's generosity, I was able to get an 11 AM code, so I'm about to partake in the madness in 24 minutes. I verified all of my information and am set to go. I can only imagine how frustrating this is going to be!

I still have the popup window for code entry- I'm afraid to put in my code before exactly 11 AM, just in case it ruins something!

The TMFanSupport twitter is telling people to wait and enter their code at the time they were given. I think the site just isn't "on" yet and it will be smoother at 11. At least, that's what I hope.
