I got a code for 12 PM.  I hope there are tickets left at the cheaper price range by then.  Do we know if there will really be tickets available for ALL performance dates, or will it just be the later ones?

Also, for those asking about ticket prices, this information is listed on the website:

For every performance of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, there will be 300 seats priced at $40 or less per part, and 150 of these seats will be priced at $20 per part.

Current pricing for performances beginning April 25, 2018: $20, $40, $80, $130, $165 and $199 per part.
Current pricing during previews (March 16 to April 21, 201Harry Potter access code? : $20, $40, $70, $120, $155 and $189 per part.
Premium tickets are also available for all performances. Standard Ticketmaster service fees apply.

There is no guarantee on anything.  The letter I got said something like, even if a date is showing that there are tix available, it may not be so.

Does anyone know if access code is linked to your tm account or if another account holder can use the link?

For those who are thinking of resorting to Stubhub, before you do, try the General On-sale on Thursday first. Yes, it might be a ****show but you might end up with cheaper tickets than with Stubhub. Even if it's annoying, give the official ticket channel a shot first before going to other dealers. You'll get a better deal and you're guaranteed to have legit tickets. I wouldn't want someone to purchase $2,000 tickets for a family of four, only to be turned away because they're not valid.

So there's no validation that the access code is paired with a particular email address/Ticketmaster login?

Stubhub has a buyer guarantee, if the tickets happen to be fake, which is extremely rare nowadays they will find you replacement tickets or give you a full refund. It couldn't be more safe.

Good luck to everyone that got an access code. I’m going to check out the general sale on Thursday but I’m not excpecting to have luck which is probably for the best as I look at m6 bank account lol. I know I’ll eventually see the show and I’m oddly okay with waiting a long time if necessary.

Does anyone know how standby actually works?  Am I  to spend the day by my laptop in hopes an access code is texted to me?  Has that ever worked for anyone?

Also, when general sales open on the 8th, is it at 12 a.m.  eastern time?

Thanks!  Wishing us ALL luck!

Every time I've been on standby, I've never heard back, so I wouldn't recommend waiting around for it... more like, just live your life and if you get a text, then you have 2.5 hours to buy tickets.

It will not be midnight, usually more like 10a to noon, but the Ticketmaster site will have the onsale time well in advance.

I got my notification at 8:12 last night and I'm in the 1:00 pm time slot.  Glad I got the notification that I have a chance to get tickets, but I'm a little bummed that it's at 1:00.  I have a feeling the cheaper seats will be gone by the time I'm allowed to purchase tickets.  Won't know until I try.  Keeping my fingers crossed!

I was on standby last time - and this time - but I did receive an access code at about 3pm CST.  Unfortunately, that was about 3 minutes before everything available was completely gone.  Since I'm from out of town my only possible dates are in June - there were no tickets at any price point until late October, and even then it was slim pickings.  Within about 3 minutes those were gone, too.  If you do get a code their calendar is color-coded so you can immediately see the dates that are completely sold.

I did wait by two phones all day last time.  I will likely do the same tomorrow bc I can't help myself.  But I'm not at all optimistic.  I will see if Thursday brings available seats, even if they are premium I will take them over never getting to see the show.  When you aren't a local, you don't have the option of watching stub hub prices drop day of, etc.  I also would rather see other shows than take my chances with the cancellation line when I have limited time to see all the shows I'd like to see.  So it's this week or bust for me and HP!

Good luck to all.  Was really hoping to luck into a code this time (that actually was usable) but that's life.

I received a code for the last Springsteen release that was one hour after the presale started. To my surprise, I was successful getting $75 tickets, which I believe are the cheapest. So there is hope! My daughter's HP code is also for one hour after the start of the presale, so my fingers are crossed.

On the other hand, I was not successful with being on standby for Hamilton.

So BuddyStarr's comment above is NOT correct, i.e., the code can only be used with the account it was sent to? That would mean that codes cannot be "shared" with others - is that right?

Has anyone here bought verified fan tickets on their phone? The email from Ticketmaster says using a laptop or desktop is recommended, but I'll be at work and unable to use a computer. Is buying on mobile that bad? Any major differences in the interface?

I bought tickets for a friend (on his account) who was vacationing in Ireland when the first tickets were released. I used my phone, and I was able to get orchestra row D on 4/29 for him, so I think the recommendation to use a computer is nonsense.

Link to new seating chart, from the official site. It would have been nice to have seat numbers on there too, but I guess we need a spell for that!

I have still not received an email regarding my status. Who should I contact for this? I received an email at the time that I was officially registered but I am still yet to find out if I'll receive a code or be on standby.

I used a friend's code with my account during the first release and got tickets.

And there was nothing built into the process to validate that the code was associated with a particular Ticketmaster account? That's good to know!

If you were chosen to get a code or be on standby, you would have more than likely found out by now.

Check your junk/spam folder....things might have been routed differently.

I was given wl for Springsteen, got a code...but couldn't snag any tickets I was willing to pay for.  Actually, after failing to see ANY tickets for several dates, I finally found unaffordable ones.

I had NO luck using my phone.

No, the code is not associated to a particular account.  However, you still have to have your own Ticketmaster account set up with a credit card.  You should definitely make sure that everything is in order before the tickets go on sale, check all your information on Ticketmaster and make sure the credit card on file is valid so you don't have any mishaps when getting your tickets.  they even state that you shouldn't "reload" a webpage once you get in because you may get bounced out.  I got tickets for the fall the last go around but was hoping to grab 2 tickets in June instead.
