Interesting since the show hasn’t yet officially announced it, but I guess that’s coming today.
Got the same email

Max is primarily a dancer, which makes me wonder if they are really beefing up Harold Hills choreography for this production. I hope Max continues with the show in the ensemble.

It's almost poignant that there is a prominent "LIKE" of that photo of Sutton and Max by Laura Osnes. She has never made it a secret that Marian was her dream role and this would have been her dream production. She had only a few hours of hopeful expectation before her agent burst the bubble.
She is friends with Sutton from Anything Goes and I'm sure will only wish her the best.
Is it believed that Sutton was Hugh's personal choice? Remembering that impromptu dance between the two during the Tony awards a few years back.
Sutton doesn't seem like a great fit for the role if you compare her to Barbara Cook, Shirley Jones, and certainly not Kristin Chenoweth, who was the best thing about the 2003 television remake with Matthew Broderick. And she hasn't really made a living out of singing romantic ballads like "Til There Was You."
But it's just impossible to imagine Sutton coming up short. If she doesn't quite fit the role as the others have played it, then she will tweak the role until it fits her.
I don't suppose that they will work in any tap.
LOL. Only if you are following Laura, would you ever see her "like", unless you actually looked for it among the thousands of likes. So, nope, nothing prominent about it. And you don't know anything about her agent or her "hopeful expectation". Don't spread rumors or be disrespectful. She is a professional actress and acts that way. Non event.
And putting things in bold doesn't suddenly make what you are saying true. In any way.

A pleasure talking to you Millie. I am fortunate to be able to learn from one as knowledgeable and gracious as you.
I was indeed fooled by the LIKE. Since she is one of the many I follow on Instagram, when I opened my copy of Instagram to see the photo, Laura's name was listed and her little profile picture was there. If I were not a follower of her than her name would not have shown up. An honest mistake that I thought everyone saw that. You showed that you didn't know how that worked either.
Laura herself told that story about hearing of the Jackman revival, of the initial excitement that she felt, of contacting her agent immediately, and of having her hopes burst not long thereafter. She told the story while at Birdland doing her cabaret act.
Now go take a nap.

Looks like they release a bunch more tickets to go along with officially putting the Winter Garden on the ticket page. I just checked my performance date in October and there are bunch of seats now whereas last week there were only a handful of single seats. $99, 199, 209, and 279 price level (and the ridiculous $550 as well).
If they're already rehearsing the show, why not just announce the full cast?

MR. OL BLUE EYES:
I WAS 15 WHEN THE FILM WAS RELEASED IN 1962. THE FIRST 33 1/3 RPM RECORD I BOUGHT WAS THE SOUNDTRACK. I PLAYED IT OVER AND OVER. I STILL LOVE THE MOVIE, AND OF COURSE THE MUSIC. IF I WERE TO SEE THIS NEW PRODUCTION, IT WOULD BE IN PART BECAUSE IT STARS HUGH AND SUTTON. BUT I CAN'T MAKE THE CROSS-COUNTRY TRIP THIS TIME, SO I AM CONTENT TO HAVE SEEN EACH OF THESE STARS IN PERSON IN CONCERT. I AM CERTAIN IT WILL BE AN ENORMOUS HIT. AND MY BEST WISHES TO LAURA.
Please note that I typed the above in BOLD AND CAPS AND ITALICS. Because I want to,

Has anybody had any luck switching/refunding previously purchased tickets? The “cheap” tickets are now down to $99 from $109 and extend further toward the center. I called and was told they were only taking requests by email, so let’s see...

Hey I know we’re still MONTHS out but I’ve got a serious question about attendance. I hope I haven’t shot my self in the foot but I bought Tickets for a Wednesday matinee, the week before opening in previews but still a matinee. I’ve read through this forum and it seems Hugh will be doing 8 shows a week, since he’s the ticket, but what about Sutton? Tried to do some research but kinda came up short. What’s her track record with an 8 show week? Does she skip matinees. Or since it’s so close to opening do we think they’re both going to be there every show till it officially opens? Love Hugh but I bought the tickets so I could see Sutton. She’s been on my bucket list since I saw the performance of anything goes at the tonys.

I am SOOOOOO glad that I read this thread today. I did not know until 2 minutes ago that they officially announced the WG and put the side seats on sale. While the side seats get to be pretty awful, I was able to get B30, C30 and D30 for $99 each. B28, C28 and D28 are $229, so I feel like I got the bargain of the season. There are still 6 / 7 seats further to the side, so I am thinking that they cant be that bad. Time will tell, but I am very happy today.
I second that, Jarethan! I had heard that they announced the Winter Garden but didn’t think much of it! I was so happy that I opened this thread today and decided to check availability for some early performances. If anyone is interested, there are some far side/far rear mezzanine seats for the first and second preview for $99!

Has anyone sat in these far left mess seats? I’m trying to decide if I should pick these up or splurge on closer seats. Row E starts at $99 but rows a-d in the same section are over $250

I just can’t make myself pay for tickets for these. Even okay seats are upwards of $200. I know I’ll probably eventually cave but my god

I have not, but in my quick search on A View From My Seats they don’t seem all that horrible for $99

I find the sides in the WG to be very restricted view.
Off topic, pretty much. Laura and Sierra are my favorites of all the talented young actresses who don't get enough roles. I try to catch them when they are performing locally. I really like Sutton and Laura B., but it's tough on the younger actresses when actresses in their mid-forties get the roles of young women in their mid-twenties.
Here is one instance where Laura expressed her love for Miss Marian, while at 54 Below with Tony Yazbeck. Tony's career seems to be taking off, at least.

Hi, I'm new here. TMM is one of my favorite musicals, and we were planning to see it in Spring 2021 but for various reasons, are now thinking this fall might be better.
My question: is the show more "finalized" in previews since this is a revival and not a new show? My DH would rather go earlier (we live in LA and so cold weather is not something we are accustomed to) but I'm concerned about not seeing the "official" version if we go in previews. I really appreciate your thoughts; thank you.
Generally, shows are "frozen" for the final week of previews, which is when the critics attend. So, if you go during the week of October 8-14, you'll be seeing the finished product, for the most part.

Question for the group: I currently have a $99 seat in right mezz row F (seat 28) that I bought the day the tickets went on sale.
There's now a right mezz row A seat 30 available for the same price. I'm thinking of asking if I can switch since I know Telecharge has done that for folks before. The pics online seem like far sides of row A may be obstructed. Am I better off staying where I am now?

I called yesterday for a similar request and was told any requests needed to be done by email so they could be reviewed by a manager. I have acknowledgment that my email was received but am still waiting on an actual reply. If you do call/email, please keep us posted on results.
Also, weren’t the cheap tickets originally $109, not $99?

I did the exact same thing yesterday and am just waiting for Telecharge to respond. They acknowledged receipt and said a manager is reviewing the request.
