Just announced that Krysta Rodriguez is cast in THE COLLABORATION at MTC, beginning performances right after Thanksgiving. Obviously this means a new Cinderella joining the company soon-ish. Perhaps Soo is returning?

Denee Benton is returning starting Nov 22 to Dec 24 according to People Magazine

oh that's awesome. she is such a talent.
any word on who else will be joining the cast?

No but a good friend knows Brian D’arcy James and he will be in it till the end… also looking at the 24th end date for Benton maybe possible the whole original Broadway cast returns for the last two weeks?

That would be an amazing way to conclude this magical revival!

While that would be great, didnt Stephanie J Block say she would be concluding the run? I cant find it anywhere but I think she tweeted it.

Maybe she'll take an absence and then come back?

Sunset is not until early Feb and I am sure they will rehearse in NYC until they go to DC. She should be good to stay.

Damn, I wish I could see her, she was wonderful as Eliza. But I'm going in the week prior to her first performance.

Now if only they could get Heather Headley to come back for a few weeks...

Sebastian’s final show was this past Sunday. Brian D’Arcy James has returned as the Baker for a presumably open run to the end.

At what point did they close the balcony for ITW? Because I have heard on good authority that it is now closed (and they’re still having a tough time filling the other seats too).

If you look at the capacity in grosses, it's been a bit on and off over the past few weeks. 11k seats is total closure I think, but there were a couple weeks with 12k where I presume it was only closed on certain days, and 13k is fully open.

I looked at the online seating charts an hour before the matinee yesterday. About 40% of the orchestra was unsold and maybe 50% or more of the mezzanine.

Patina Miller and the company performed "Prologue: Into the Woods" and "Last Midnight" on The View this morning:

It must be hard for this show to promote itself on TV by cutting and piecing things together. This and the Today Show appearance were so awkward.

Sebastian will return for the shows closing week and there’s one more brand new person joining the cast which will be pretty exciting.

Very excited about this. Also, mad at myself for getting hopes up of original cast reuniting to close the show, especially seeing Sara one more time as BW.
Thanks for the update, Jordan!

Children Will Listen is catchy, and works irrespective of the plot. Why they insist on these awkward poorly transitioned performances is beyond me.
