As posted on the show's Facebook page, Jordan will play the role of Seymour through May 10.

I like Jeremy Jordan as much as the next guy, but he wouldn't have been my first choice for Seymour... Still, I have no doubt he'll sing the heck out of it.
DAMMIT!!! I SHOULD’VE WAITED! (No shade to Gideon Glick)

Seems a bit too hunky for the role, but then again, so is Groff, and so is Gyllenhaal.
Plus, I was pleasantly surprised by Jeremy Jordan's performance as Leo Frank in Parade, and the two characters are sort of the same type, from a casting perspective (even though the two shows could not be more different tonally)
Oh Jesus.
Just take all my money, LSOH.
Two month engagement, so I'm sure it'll be a tough ticket. Though I'm happy to see it extended again. Might have to catch this now if I can.

Tickets are on sale through May 10th, does that mean his final performance is May 10th?
Edit: I believe the show is a limited engagement thing, correct? Was not sure if May 10th was the show's final performance... or simply Jeremy's?

So glad I saw this, heading for a quick trip to NYC at the end of March and have been dying to see this production! Just snagged my ticket!

It's both as of now unless they find a name to replace Jordan and extend it into the summer.
I am definitely willing to go back to Little Shop to see Mr Jordan, but I wonder if this might be a little too much to soon for Mr Jordan to sell tickets. He’s been in 2 Broadway shows in the past year, and now Little Shop. The limited 2 month run, should help, but it seems like it might be a law of diminishing returns.
I say the same thing about Laurie Metcalf who is on Broadway in a new production for her 5th season in a row. As we learned last year with Hillary / Clinton, audiences won’t buy tickets anymore simply because her name is on the marquee. I expect Who’s Afraid of Virgina Woolf? to sell better as its a powerhouse play and in addition to her being such a great actress.
Back to my point though, I honestly don’t know how well Mr Jordan will sell. He definitely won’t sell as well as Jonathan Groff, and will sell better than Gideon Glick, but I have a feeling his sales will only be slightly above those of Mr. Glick’s.
I am also guessing this means Blanchard and Borle will be staying with the production.
The real question at this point is, “Who will be with the production over the summer?” There is no way producers would close this before we get into the busy summer season. Add to that its not like its playing at a Broadway house, where another production is waiting in the wings.
I expect closing will be contingent on both ticket sales which will be contingent on replacement.
But yes, I'm seeing Glick in 2 weeks (already saw Groff) but I can feel my credit card slipping out of my wallet for a third!

Note to those who are eager to see Jeremy, Telecharge states:
"Jeremy Jordan is Seymour beginning March 17
Jeremy Jordan will not perform on April 21st."
This is awesome!!!!!!!
BTW, when is Christian Borle scheduled to leave the show? Will he still be performing in it in May?

That’s my bday and what a bday treat that will be!!!
Also, when is Tammy leaving? I hope I caught her on a bad night but I have never ever heard such awful vocals.
Now if we could only get a new Audrey...
I’m just dreaming of Jeremy Jordan and Megan Hilty doing the show together....

Apologies if I'm re-opening an old can of worms. I didn't really follow any of the Little Shop threads except the lottery one, so if this has already been discussed to death, I wasn't aware. If you'll indulge me, what's the counterargument to the "too hunky" complaint? I'm just curious to hear. Or feel free to direct me to one of the threads where it was discussed, if you can recall.
After Jake Gyllenhaal played the role to absolute perfection, the idea that someone is “too good looking” to play Seymour no longer makes any sense at all. Jason Momoa could probably successfully play the role now.

Ugh. Of course this extends with yet another actor I'd love to see, and my next NYC trip isn't until next February. I just want to see this production, dangit!
Interesting . . . JJ has concerts scheduled in Kansas City on March 23, 24, and 25. Guess those are not happening now. While I am not attending, I have some students who are looking forward to this concert (and it's already been pushed back to this date from last fall).
