If it was more than an understudy, I would think they would announce it with the whole cast. That, unless they want more hype for the alt by announcing them later in the run? That just seems very unlikely to me. Glad to hear about Dawn, he seems like a well fit for the role and honestly very excited to see him and the rest of the cast.

They would have announced him as his alternate in November in the article. That didn't happen. So, I doubt it's him. An understudy is not an alternate.

Chris Dwan is terrific, and I hope he gets to go on!
It’s weird that a price hasn’t been announced for the front-row deal. Plus, why give people the option to buy up to six tickets? Two would have been enough, enabling more fans to get them rather than scalpers.

I’m surprised as well with the high per person limit - if everyone grabs their limit, only the first 30 will get a chance - sadly, I think that means it will become scalper-heavy 
I was excited for these “rush-like” seats, but not at $99/$119. Front row has been look-up level for the past 2 shows (Chick Flick, Daniel’s Husband), Is expect the same again. But then again it’s as close as you can get :)

I just want Mr Groff to sit on the edge of the stage, feet dangling and give that cute little half smile as he sings--'Sweetlips I love you' ,just before he gets eaten by the plant, and I wake up.

I read an article about Mindhunter on Netflix with Mr. Groff and he said that the director asked him never to smile which really worked for his character. I loved season 2 BTW.

I don't think there had been any official word he was leaving MOCKINGBRD? Or maybe they're giving him 2-3 weeks off for this.

Everyone was getting mad about how attractive Groff is, but Gideon is honestly on my top 3 Broadway hotties list (after Bryce Pinkham, and John Riddle).

Brilliant choice - he, too, will be just wonderful! I know I can't be in the city while he's on. I'm almost glad we didn't know this before - I think I'd struggle with whom I'd prefer to see!

I ironically just spend more money to see Gideon than Groff.
Do we think this has a chance of extending with Gideon returning? I figure Groff and Borle would be the ones who wouldn't/couldn't extend.

I think it depends on if Gideon is leaving TKAM after joining Little Shop. I could see that, but how long is the main cast of Mockingbird staying? I know Harris is replacing Daniels in Nov, but has any other cast members been rumored to leaving soon?
