I'd guess and say she tries to return on Thursday. I doubt she attempts to return on a two show day.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
Thanks for the information BrodyFosse! I wouldn't be surprised if she extended. It is one of her dream roles. I don’t follow her too closely to know if she has another project coming up that would prevent her from extending. Is My Fair Lady an open run?
She isn't always out, this is the first time she's ever called out sick so don't comment on things when you don't actually know the facts. She has an illness, it happens. Christ.
LuPita, I know this is the internet but lets take it down to a 6 or a 7, at least. You can just say shes never called out and still get your point across.
LuPita's info isn't entirely accurate, either. Laura missed both performances on 11/7, as well. Between that day, her scheduled absences, and this past week's illness, it looks like she's been out of 16 performances. I get that "always out" is an exaggeration, but I can understand how 16 shows in 2 months could seem like a lot. I'm not saying she didn't have every right to take those days off, just stating facts.
Momsical canceled Mom said for the money she paid she wanted to see at least the star or alternate (Kerstin Anderson). I called LCT and they said Heather Botts would be performing today again so we'll see it sometime in January.

I'm good, thanks for your completely unwanted opinion though. Move along.

Yeah, this is the first time she's been out for an illness. She has an auto immune disease, so it's really gross that anyone would say "she's always out" when that's just completely inaccurate. Learn your facts before commenting. She did not call out sick on November 7th.

You'll notice that I never said she called out sick on 11/7, which is why I said that you weren't ENTIRELY accurate, but it WAS an unscheduled absence. Most people use "calling out sick" and "calling out" interchangeably. To be fair, RippedMan didn't say anything about being sick either. He was just bringing up the point that she's been out quite a bit, a point which I attempted to explain. I'm sorry that you continue to be offended by a perfectly reasonable discussion.
I wonder if they put one of the understudies out on tour which one would it be. Heather or Kerstin. Has anybody seen both and can give a preference?
In our millions, in our billions, we are most powerful when we stand together. TW4C unwaveringly joins the worldwide masses, for we know our liberation is inseparably bound.

Haven’t seen either but if I had to take I guess probably Kerstin, because she’s the first understudy and alternate. The production team clearly favors her over Heather. Heather is a swing so it would be easier to put her on yet Kerdtin is always first up.

I have seen both. I saw Ambrose twice and Benanti once. I loved both of them equally. However, I think that Benanti brought a lot more humor to the role, especially in the ascot scene.

I have seen both as well, and I enjoyed both of their performances. Each had their own strengths and weaknesses. Ambrose had a better accent, and brought a more serious and soulful feel to the production. I was deeply moved by the show when I saw it with her in it. Benanti had a stronger singing voice and comedic timing (which I felt transferred to the rest of the cast), and brought a brighter, more joyous feel to the musical. I left with a grin on my face after seeing it with her performance. I didn't prefer one to the other; they were just different.
At this point I'm convinced Benanti will out the entire weekend.
