I'm sure Finn, Puck and Santana are smiling down on her from the heavens.
Well...maybe not Santana..."
I'm a huge Gleek too, but bringing the pedo into this conversation is... not a good look."
I referenced the character not the actor. The character of Puck is not a pedo. Have a wonderful evening clutching your pearls!

I've got no pearls to clutch, and I'm not sure how not wanting a children's abuser mentioned is clutching one's pearls. That said, if you were referencing the characters, then why would Puck and Santana be "smiling down from the heavens"?

Lots of ignorant people on Tiktok. Did you read all the comments suggesting she can't read? I do not understand the ignorance and hatred. If, by any chance she truly cannot read or has difficulty reading - it might be dyslexia or some other medical/physical reason.

She was delightful on Fallon tonight. Beautiful, charismatic, gracious. I love how much this means to her.
Her performance is growing so much as evidenced by her “People” on TV tonight. She is in fantastic vocal shape. Glad that video is out here forever now! Just glorious.
God, she is just brilliant. Her little giggle after the end of the song shows just how much fun she's having and how much this means to her. Not to sound like a broken record, but I am desperately manifesting a cast album.
They/them.
"Get up the nerve to be all you deserve to be."

Apparently once upon a time there used to be Best Replacement category? I had never heard of it until the guy who runs the Onstage blog tweeted about how they should reinstate it...then swiftly changed his mind after September 6. His one man war against Lea continues to entertains me.
I'll give Lea credit. Nothing is ever going to make me like People. I am that songs #1 hater! But that was rather nice. World's better than the Glee version. Her voice is aging beautifully.
My partner h a t e d Glee and really wasn’t jazzed about her being cast - then we watched her last night on Fallon and he had to admit, it was pretty damn good - and he thinks he likes her now after the interview. I gotta say kudos to Leah and her management team, they really hit it out of the park with this one.

Since Beanie originated the role, there is unfortunately no way that Lea can win a Tony for Fanny Brice in this particular production. But I'm hoping that her run in Funny Girl has reminded Lea how much she loves the stage and has also reminded producers how much raw talent she has when they're casting future projects. I feel like the phrase "Tony winner Lea Michele" is easily within the realm of future possibility. (Just not this one.)
Someone correct me if I’m wrong (and I very well could be) but I swear I was told that Beanie’s contract had something in it about a cast recording being hers (should they record it), so wouldn’t that mean they’re not able to do it with anyone else for this production?
