I concur. Sigh.

Oh, and this isn't live. All of these numbers were prerecorded. The only "live" thing about it was, I'm guessing, Raul doing the introductions. He's probably too upset to continue. At this point, I don't blame him.
Hopefully, the whole thing will be "fixed" tomorrow so that we can stream it on YouTube without all of the screwups."
The MET Opera had 40 artists, performing from around the world , LIVE and most of the time with live accompanists. Watching this, what the MET did was amazing. Apparently the live element of this has failed here because our "host" is missing. Maybe if they correct that he will appear at some point.
Raul is posting videos on Twitter throughout the stream right now instead of live hosting. I'm assuming they sacrificed that element in order to get the broadcast going. https://twitter.com/RaulEEsparza
Yeah, so I guess it was going to be Raul live with the pre-taped performances? I would've loved to see more about the Zoom call Patti posted. Bernadette's name on it was "pattysaccente."
It’s working well, but I am still unclear on why it took an hour to get to this format. Wouldn’t a contingency plan be part of this? I know everyone wants to pretend this is “theatre”- but it isn’t, it’s a broadcast. And easily executable contingency plans need to be in place for a technical failure.
"...everyone finally shut up, and the audience could enjoy the beginning of the Anatevka Pogram in peace."
It's very enjoyable. Don't understand how this couldn't get on TV somehow. Someone at Broadway.com is getting fired tomorrow.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
I'm glad they're all pre recorded. I didn't see the MET concert but most of the time the video and audio quality on these webcasts suck (look at the Rosie special especially Adrienne Warren, most of Seth's Stars in the House). Considering all the problems they were having just to see great performance after great performance is wonderful. Don't understand all the complaining
I was ready to watch the live YouTube concert at 8pm before all of the technical difficulties.... I didn't happen to see on the original YouTube link: were they SUPPOSED to accept the donations right on the YouTube video like some of the other charity virtual concerts have done? (Rosie, the Passover Seder etc.)? If something messed up with that, I feel bad for ASTEP.
Then you really can't comment. I'm enjoying this but the MET concert was SPECIAL. Live is so much more exciting. It's taped, so I will watch it taped tomorrow. G'night.
