Well Jordan, he isn't your avatar model for nothing...Lol
All joking aside, I like that they've dedicated the performance to Marin Mazzie. She really was/is very loved. I wonder who will play Mother in her stead.
Also, bring in Judy Kaye for Emma Goldman, 20 years be damned.
Just have Christiane Noll from the revival play Mother.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
What about Barbara Walsh as Mother? She was certainly capable enough in the 1998 Chicago production. And I have a full audio recording to stand by my words.
Getting to see the original cast on Broadway is still in my top musical viewing experiences, possibly even the top. Ms. Mazzie will be sincerely missed. I was meh on "Back to Before" from the recordings until I saw her perform it on an empty stage in that giant house, and damn, if she didn't sell me. There may have been some goosebumps and watery eyes. Even without her, if I could manage to get a ticket I'd make the trip.
I know she might be a little old for the part, but I would love to see Donna Murphy as Mother... plus it would be a little tribute to Marin as they starred in "Passion" together.

I believe Donna played Mother in one of the workshops as well, so there’s another connection.
Is this a presentation of the whole piece or is it just a reunion/tribute concert in which they’ll be singing some of the songs?

Donna Murphy did play Mother in the original workshop of RAGTIME, so I doubt she'd do this. She's also not a soprano anymore. (I seem to remember Joel Grey playing Tateh in the original workshop too, but I don't see him mentioned here.)

I had no idea she played Mother in the original workshop. Wow. I would have loved to have heard her sing that gorgeous score. Yes, I realize range might be an issue for her now... that role does hit some pretty high notes.

Not specified. I believe MILLIE was the full show, right? But thiscould just be a selection of the songs."
MILLIE was the entire show. Regarding production numbers, the actual original ensemble performed "Forget About the Boy" and "Long As I'm Here With You", while other dancers (who had a longer rehearsal period) did the others.

If it is the whole show and they need someone to stand in for the irreplaceable Marin, my vote would be for Carolee Carmello who was in callbacks for the role before losing out to Marin. She would be incredible.

Carmello will still be touring with DOLLY when this concert happens.
