I have no idea what this is...BUT I am intrigued.
When’s opening night?
I will never believe this title is a real musical.
That said, I will eagerly be seeing it.

April 4th may be opening. Hard to tell right now.

Gonna guess Mon, March 27 or Tues, April 4 because those dates aren't on sale. More likely the latter.

Is it still based on Hee-Haw???

It started as the hee haw musical. But evolved.
Hee-Haw appeals to rural southerners now in their 60s-90s. They’d better pray they get Reba McEntire for this or sell tickets in the $20-$40 range.

It's either April 3 or 4. You can usually tell by when the weeknight shows go to an earlier start time.
My friend thought it was really good with a great cast. We will see.

...are you certain it's not April 1?
...as in April Fool's day
These darn ticket sellers having to set the page up the night before... you'd think they'd learn by now, because if I was a producer I'd be lowkey pissed (even though this wasn't a well kept secret in town about this transfer) Anyways, same thing happened to Sweeney, so you'd think they'd fix it... just saying.
I saw a presentation at the Daryl Roth and found it to be hysterical. The title is very questionable to me from a marketing side but the jokes are fast and furious. And the score is pretty great too!
Considering who's involved, and how vague the press releases have been, I think this could end up being a spring surprise.
There are several great reviews online, but this one seems to do a pretty concise job of describing what to expect from the show:

Those who posted months ago that this would open at the Nederlander this spring were right. Well done.
Found this news piece hyping its run in Utah..." it's about corn & coming together".... pretty sure gay porn company Falcon covered that pretty thoroughly in 1995's classic X feature "Ripe for the Harvest." If only they could adapt that for the stage...though it likely wouldn't have been able to have an out-of-town tryout in Utah.

Can someone tell me who is producing this? I’ve read the info about the Pioneer production, but for some reason I can’t see who is bringing it to Broadway. Just wondering where the money is coming from. Thanks!

"Shucked winds in and out of the advantages and disadvantage of a set-in-its-ways community, in a way that doesn’t merely set up the Cob County-ites as ignorant punch lines, playing fair to the extent that whatever moral there is to the story about cloistered community ultimately feels kind of beside the point."
Hmn...
Color me there.
I have been waiting for this show to be announced. Looking forward to seeing Trensch, Newell and Behlmann if they transfer with it.
