LCT productions are always initially limited runs. They can extend and/or become open-ended, but always start limited.

I’m assuming Floyd would be limited like most if not all Lincoln Center productions.
In that case, possibly. It would fit to be her first show.

No timing shared for RAGTIME but I'm just assuming FLOYD will be a limited run given the subject matter. The question is how limited...through July? Through Labor Day? Through December? RAGTIME could open Fall 25 or Spring 26 depending on when FLOYD wraps up.
Which begs the question of what happens to Caissie Levy if NEXT TO NORMAL transfers? (I thought she was fine but replaceable in Ragtime.)

As a LCT member, I just looked at my info for ticket sales. FC is currently selling from first preview - March 27 through June 22, 2025.

Levy can sit out both the NEXT TO NORMAL transfer and the RAGTIME transfer.

I concur. I’m sure she’s a lovely lady, but I find her so bland on stage.
The first musical Andre Bishop produced in the Beaumont was Lynn Ahrens & Stephen Flaherty's MY FAVORITE YEAR.
It would be fitting if the first musical Lear produces in the Beaumont is Lynn Ahrens & Stephen Flaherty's RAGTIME.
(also looks like Bishop's first and last Beaumont musicals are both music-directed by his frequent collaborator Ted Sperling)

Yes, and the option for an extension is almost guaranteed to be built into the actors' contracts. The unknown is how long that extension will last.

The other day I managed to snag a ticket to Tammy faye and WOW, was I pleasantly surprised that I didn’t hate it as much as I thought I was going too.
The show had a good flow to it - especially act 2 and the actors were giving it all (even thought the source material was lacking). Katie Brayben, who plays Tammy Faye, was exceptional! She is a true talent and I look forward to seeing her in future productions!
was the show perfect? No!
did I leave the theatre humming the songs? No!
would I recommend seeing the show? Hell no!
did I have fun? Not really
But I’m glad I went and I’m glad I saw the show! I support the theatre - even when it’s not so great!

Finally some pull quotes this show can actually use.

Yes, but I can't imagine FC extending past Labor Day, allowing for Ragtime to open some time in the fall.
As Tammy Faye closes, will it be among the lowest grossing shows upon its closing?
They finally started slashing prices for tomorrow’s closing…this evening. Earlier today everything was still full price. Insane how few tickets are sold for the closing performance.

Joy Woods could be available again by the time it happens. That would be best for the show as well.

Tonight's closing show looks only 30/35% sold. How sad for this cast to close a show with such a tiny house. At least Swept Away's (current) closing date is looking decently sold.
Unless they quickly comp the house, the last performance will be to a house that looks to be about half full, with a mostly empty mezz.
They should make every available seat $10 just to fill the house for them tonight. This is sad.

They should. I am however sending some love to Bryan the buisness analyst. His take was honest. The ones trying to torch him on social media and therefore torching the show all over again are the true villains.

Agreed. It's a hard performance give them some energy they can feed off of.
I hope at least one audience member will give a standing ovation to Katie after singing her 11oclock number. She’s always given it a 100%.
Curious if there were any post-show speeches tonight.

There were no speeches. Confirmed by a friend who saw the show tonight and post on their instagram story
Saw Autumn Hurlbert this afternoon. She did a fine job - much more like Tammy Faye in mannerisms and voice. She even brought a tear to my eye a couple times - voice not as strong as Brayben but she made the show make sense. It’s still a grab bag of lots of different thoughts that don’t all come together, but at least Autumn was a better anchor for everything.

I was at closing.
They absolutely papered the orchestra at the last minute, when I arrived to pick up my ticket I could see a VERY long comp list in the box office.
That said, I was in the Mezz and there were MAYBE 100 of us, the ushers let everyone move down and center which was good.
This show was such a misfire but I will say I never found myself bored or looking at my watch. Katie got very loud applause at her entrance, and a VERY long applause break after "If You Came To See Me Cry" myself and several others in the Mezzanine gave her a standing ovation.
One very interesting moment tonight was during the end when Andy Taylor and Michael Cervaris essentially recreated the controversial conversation that Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson had on the 700 Club after 9/11. During this scene there were TONS of people boo'ing and audience members yelling "F--k You" and other such things, wonder if it always elicited that kind of reaction.
Anyways this probably was the best audience I could have seen the show with, oh well, bye Tammy Faye, onward to the great flop house in the sky.
