No timing shared for RAGTIME but I'm just assuming FLOYD will be a limited run given the subject matter. The question is how limited...through July? Through Labor Day? Through December? RAGTIME could open Fall 25 or Spring 26 depending on when FLOYD wraps up.
Which begs the question of what happens to Caissie Levy if NEXT TO NORMAL transfers? (I thought she was fine but replaceable in Ragtime.)

Levy can sit out both the NEXT TO NORMAL transfer and the RAGTIME transfer.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

I concur. I’m sure she’s a lovely lady, but I find her so bland on stage.

Yes, and the option for an extension is almost guaranteed to be built into the actors' contracts. The unknown is how long that extension will last.
The other day I managed to snag a ticket to Tammy faye and WOW, was I pleasantly surprised that I didn’t hate it as much as I thought I was going too.
The show had a good flow to it - especially act 2 and the actors were giving it all (even thought the source material was lacking). Katie Brayben, who plays Tammy Faye, was exceptional! She is a true talent and I look forward to seeing her in future productions!
was the show perfect? No!
did I leave the theatre humming the songs? No!
would I recommend seeing the show? Hell no!
did I have fun? Not really
But I’m glad I went and I’m glad I saw the show! I support the theatre - even when it’s not so great!

Yes, but I can't imagine FC extending past Labor Day, allowing for Ragtime to open some time in the fall.
As Tammy Faye closes, will it be among the lowest grossing shows upon its closing?
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
They finally started slashing prices for tomorrow’s closing…this evening. Earlier today everything was still full price. Insane how few tickets are sold for the closing performance.

Tonight's closing show looks only 30/35% sold. How sad for this cast to close a show with such a tiny house. At least Swept Away's (current) closing date is looking decently sold.

They should. I am however sending some love to Bryan the buisness analyst. His take was honest. The ones trying to torch him on social media and therefore torching the show all over again are the true villains.
Saw Autumn Hurlbert this afternoon. She did a fine job - much more like Tammy Faye in mannerisms and voice. She even brought a tear to my eye a couple times - voice not as strong as Brayben but she made the show make sense. It’s still a grab bag of lots of different thoughts that don’t all come together, but at least Autumn was a better anchor for everything.
They absolutely papered the orchestra at the last minute, when I arrived to pick up my ticket I could see a VERY long comp list in the box office.
That said, I was in the Mezz and there were MAYBE 100 of us, the ushers let everyone move down and center which was good.
This show was such a misfire but I will say I never found myself bored or looking at my watch. Katie got very loud applause at her entrance, and a VERY long applause break after "If You Came To See Me Cry" myself and several others in the Mezzanine gave her a standing ovation.
One very interesting moment tonight was during the end when Andy Taylor and Michael Cervaris essentially recreated the controversial conversation that Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson had on the 700 Club after 9/11. During this scene there were TONS of people boo'ing and audience members yelling "F--k You" and other such things, wonder if it always elicited that kind of reaction.
Anyways this probably was the best audience I could have seen the show with, oh well, bye Tammy Faye, onward to the great flop house in the sky.
