I can see why Christian Borle won. His character was the most developed, but I was hoping for Andy Karl to win. Christian didn't seem surprised or delighted by his win, either - not like Annaleigh Ashford was right after him.
I have a hunch "Something Rotten" men will scoop up the acting awards.
These two hosts are...really bland.
I was pulling for Max in the Featured category but good for Christian!
I don't WANT to live in what they call "a certain way." In the first place I'd be no good at it and besides that I don't want to be identified with any one class of people. I want to live every whichway, among all kinds---and know them---and understand them---and love them---THAT's what I want! - Philip Barry (Holiday)
Most of the audience seems to be distracted or something. Only when the camera is on them, do they seem to be enjoying themselves... Kind of weird...I don't agree with the criticism of Alan & Kristin...they are being natural and doing what they do best, entertain.
The only review of a show that matters is your own.
Yes, I have enjoyed all of the performances so far.
I don't completely hate Kristin and Alan. Though I will admit some of it isn't that great.

On the Town didn't do it for me. Tony Yazbeck sounded lovely, and the dancing was impressive, but the whole performance felt aimless and messy.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
