I don't remember "The Night They Invented Champagne" being so fast. Vanessa Hudgens was like a blur on that stage.

Well done, Gigi!! That's the energy that OTT needed. Hopefully this number will give Gigi a boost at the box office.....
after the the first few awards, I think it will be a Fun Home kind of night!

Director switching Cameras & Perspectives for video of On The Town
They switched cameras and perspectives too quickly for me. I think the model for photographing musicals for TV should be the Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers movies, not MTV. When people are dancing, its better if we can see their full figure, feet to head.
The video selected to show us for GiGi was better.

GIGI's manic performance felt like they all took those pep pills from the Bye Bye Birdie movie before doing the number. Lordie, was that sped up.

She was rushing...and by the end of her solo, she was ahead of the music.

To each his or her own: I really disliked the Gigi number. Love its simplicity in the movie but felt this was ridiculously overdone.
