"The show is great fun and entertains and does it well but no its not high art."
Why can't we discuss the negative and positive aspects of a piece of 'fun entertainment' as well as we can discuss the negative and positive aspects of 'high art'? I don't understand such a prejudice, songanddanceman2.
"Borle is more completely forgettable on screen than he is on stage. There's nothing warm or charming about him, just my opinion."
I definitely respectfully disagree. I think he's wonderful. I do think he reads better during the stage show though. Ratty corduroy rocks.
Those Hills girls are weird. And bad at reading teleprompters.
like i said, i dont care if you like the show or not, its not constructive whats been said by some people on here its just bitchy, thats what bothers me
Namo i love u but we get it already....you don't like Madonna
Of course, the one thing she can help with is appearance.
"[Gore] was widely perceived as arrogant. If you know something, you're not smart. You're a smarty-pants. It's annoying. People get annoyed with your knowledge. It goes back to high school, to not doing your homework ... 'There's something I should know, I don't know why I should know it but someone knows it and I don't. So I'm going to have to make fun of him now.'"

and to go back a bit, because i didn't see this answered: So for those who have seen it, have they changed dialoug for this broadcast?
they had to delete a reference to 'get you high,' and two uses of 'tits' were changed to 'boobs.' Other than that I believe all dialogue remained the same.

Just in case people on here weren't aware. What you are watching right now on MTV was edited from 3 seperate performances.
1 performance was with a regular audience 1 performance was without an audience (for certain camera angles) 1 performance was with the pink-clad MTV audience (and those HILLS girls)
The September 18, 2007 MTV performance wasn't the only performance filmed.
I've made several comments that are constructive because I felt they made the wrong decisions. I guess it's easier to write them all off as bitchy comments just for the sake of being mean instead of acknowledging that the show isn't 100% perfect.
Like a firework unexploded
Wanting life but never
knowing how
I don't see what's wrong with the jumping rope either, except it being sorta boring.

okay, i am an hour in and the only good songs have been non-Elle songs "Blood in the Water" and "Ireland" - i think i'll let Tivo get the rest of it and fast fwd the boring parts.
Kate Shindle is so boring and non-interesting as Vivian.
"Ohmygod You Guys" is grating and obnoxious.
