I was at the invited dress tonight. I will refrain from a full review since it was an invited dress, but I really enjoyed a lot of what I saw tonight. It is such a treat to hear Jessie Mueller singing a new score!

The song that was cut is "Door Number Three" - which makes me sad since I loved it so much during the Cambridge run. Here's to hoping it gets recorded as a bonus track on the inevitable cast album.

I am SO disappointed to hear that – one of my favorite songs on the album. Do you have a source?

I am devastated. By far my favorite song in the score.

Really? Ugh I loved that song on the album too! But I bet they kept "you matter to me" which is one of the worst.

Nothing I can link to or anything. Heard it from someone I know involved in the production.

Report from the dress - it was a huge winner. The changes and recasting choices were perfection.

"Door Number Three" is just reworked. New lyrics, same rhythm. Same orchestion mostly.  It's become a more complex, much stronger moment for the character with much of the same great melody.

That is really wonderful to hear. Glad to hear "Door Number Three" still exists since it was a personal favorite of mine in Cambridge.

I did not realize this! She just made each of her performances her own that I just thought they were made for her. Now we actually get to see her sing songs created for her'

Well that makes me feel a little better. It was mainly the general sentiment and mood of the song that I was a fan of, reworked lyrics I'm cool with.

I think You Matter to Me is one of the strongest moments on the album. I'm actually also glad to hear Door Number 3 has been reworked. I like the melody but tbh the song lost me a bit lyric-wise.

Typically, Playbills are not given out at invited dress. Correct me if I am wrong though.

No Playbills were given out last night. If I stop by the box office next week do you think they will give me one?

I was at the dress rehearsal last night so this really isn't a review other than just comments about what I saw.   I haven't seen the movie, nor heard any of the music. Highlight for me was Jessie Meuller.  She really is a great actress.  No matter what people think of the show itself, she'll likely get great reviews.  I was a bit underwhelmed by the score.  It had some great moments, but left me a little "Meh" on the whole.  Perhaps I need to listen to some of it now to appreciate it more.  I also really enjoyed Christopher Fitzgerald who provided some much needed comic relief however silly it may have been.  All in all, I would see it again.  I often enjoys shows much more the 2nd time around.

There are a ton of Premium seats for tonight and this weekend. Will they be brought down to full price before 8PM?

Does anyone think there will be a cancellation line for this tonight? Wish I got my ticket earlier, all I see are some premium tickets.

There's three non-premium tickets in the orchestra all together for tonight on Ticketmaster.

With only twenty or so seats remaining on Ticketmaster, BroadwayConcierge's statement is a fair one.
