Dude, I made one post. Given that people were so ready to believe due to one tiny tweet with literally zero compelling information, I don't this it was particularly out of line.
It wasn't out of line. I appreciate you including actual links as well!
Thank you MinervaMoon for clearing that up. Your post is MUCH appreciated. I'd rather have the facts than all the rumors, speculations and unnecessary "freak outs"...

Agreed, thank you Minerva. You actually deserve praise for clearing up the situation.

As far as we known untitled Broadway musical
Neverland is the most likely. Care to give us the rundown of the FN actors schedules minerva? It would be much apreciated.
Was there something specific in Minerva's post that set people off? Or are some of you just wanting to appear bitchy because you think it makes you look "cool"?

Full moon. (I was going to post this as a joke because a few people seem unusually cranky today. But I looked it up and it IS.)

We got the point that it wasn't happening because Daveed was in Seattle. She then felt the need to post the locations of 10 different members of the cast. Not really necessary.
One post was still made to speculate that they were performing in front of an invited audience after it was established that Daveed is in Seattle, so I don't see how Minerva's post could be viewed as unnecessary. She was just giving a definitive answer to the question of whether or not anything was happening at the Rodgers tonight.

For the record, to correct a point made above: I attended one of the filmed INTO THE WOODS performances. I paid, and was not invited. Front row mezz.
Auggie -- I must be confusing stories in my head then. I thought I remembered that Peters was brought back specifically to make the recording and that the audience was invited because it wasn't a regularly scheduled performance. (I also didn't know it was filmed over several performances.) Can you shed any light on this?

Oops! I just realized that my post might have not come across the way I intended it. I simply meant to make the point that it was conceivably possible that they could use an invited audience when the time came (yesterday, today, or two weeks from now) as it is something both Hamilton has done before as well as it is in line with recent filmings. Some posters seemed surprised that they might use an invited audience.
Peters and Joanna Gleason both returned. If memory serves, they performed 3 to 4 performances for paying audiences -- Thursday, May 23 to Saturday, May 25 1989 -- and then of course they shot the show with an empty theater to do close-ups, etc., and integrated the footage. In a sense, you are correct: they did film some material without a full house. Someone else can perhaps augment and correct this. But I do remember knowing the circumstances, because I took my 10-year-old nephew who was visiting. It's a reason I returned.
All filmed Broadway musicals are a compilation of usually 3 performances - it's not a single performance filmed. Generally 2 performances with an audience are filmed (each with different camera angles) and then one without an audience. This is for various reasons: choices for editing; mishaps; performance levels, etc.
MTV's film of LEGALLY BLONDE: The Musical was done this way.
Thanks for the details!
Lin just said on Periscope that Jonathan Groff is coming back to perform in the show for the filmed performances.

I don't know if I've done something to offend you in the past, but christ. Worriers and conspiracy theorists abound around here. Someone saying Daveed is in Seattle isn't necessarily enough to keep people from speculating that for some reason they're doing it without him, especially after Leslie stated outright that even he is not a given. So instead of a dozen more posts of ifs, ands, and maybes, I looked through a feed of just the Hamilton actors and collated what I found to build the case against them filming it that day. If a nondescript piece of paper is enough to be compelling evidence, I thought it was appropriate at the very least to show that with Lin, Javier, and Jon away, they'd be filming Hamilton without Hamilton.

It will be filmed on Sunday.
I don't know why you think I have a conspiracy, I just thought you were being exessive. clearly I'm alone in that thought, I'm sorry I offended you.

Why would you think that?

No, you're not. I felt the same way, too. Her post was not only excessive but borderline stalkerish, and it made me very uncomfortable.

So googling something to determine the actual facts in a sea of mythology is borderline stalkerish? Sheesh. Moon you did nothing wrong; Gypsy you did nothing wrong. Now get back in the sandbox but watch out for your eyes.
