Matthew Broderick - The Odd Couple David Hasselhoff - Jekyl & Hyde Rita Wilson - Chicago Keith Carridine - Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Not BAD, but I didn't enjoy his performance.) Whoopi Goldberg - Forum Vanessa Williams - Into the Woods George Rose - Peter Pan Daphne Rubin Vega - Les Miz Tony Danza - The Producers Brad Oscar - The Producers (as Max Bialystock. He was trying to hard to actually BE Nathan Lane.) Brad Garret - The Odd Couple (Not the WORST, but he wasn't very good. When he was onstage it felt like he, Nathan and Matthew were competing for "Who is The Biggest Star!".) Ben Vereen - Wicked
I'm sure there are more i'm forgetting...
And I, personally, loved Robert Morse in Wicked...just because I love Robert Morse in anything. lol.
DollyPop - Nathan was terrific in BUTLEY! Yes, he has done better, but I think he gave a great performance and worked his ass off on that stage!
"I'm tellin' you, the only times I really feel the presence of God are when I'm having sex and during a great Broadway musical." - Nathan Lane - Jeffrey
David Hasselhoff - Jekyl & Hyde - Overacting and just plain bad.
Alec Baldwin - South Pacific Concert - uncaring, unprepared performance. It was liking watching a stick of wood on the stage.
Doug Henning and Deb Henning - Merlin - They are both triple threats - can't sing, dance or act.
NathanLanStalker - I have to agree. Nathan Lane turned in an impressive emotional performance as Butley. He was on stage for just about the entire show, and was terrific.
Lilias White, who I usually like, butchered "When You're Good to Mama" when I saw her in Chicago. She riffed like a maniac, completely ruining the number.
Oh, and by the way, it finally happened. Someone PMed me to tell me that this thread was too long, I was a bitter 'wanna be' and that Josh Strickland was brilliant in Tarzan. Whatever.
Rosie O'Donell in the Fiddler on the Roof revival. I didn't mind Harvey (he wasn't that bad) but Rosie was just awful. I'm easy. I don't really care if an actor can't act or sing- it's not their fault. When an actor can passably act and passibly sing yet they chose not to, that bugs me.
Cosette: Roses are red.
Marius: Violets are blue.
Eponine: You're so in love!
Marius: And so not with you.
David Burnham in LitP? Really? He literally stopped the show with his first number the night I saw it.
Footlooser, be careful what you say about Eartha. I made a less-than-complimentary remark about her back when I first joined the boards, and Margo Channing severely chastised me!
"Word of advice: Be who you are, wear what you want---just learn how to run real fast." Marc, UGLY BETTY
And i dont think everyone in the original cast is the best, but i must say no one could ever be better than Ms. Chenoweth or Mrs. Menzel! Or Joel Grey, except maybe David Garrison who was very good.

No. Not kidding. I'm not surprised that you disagree with my choices of adding Idina and Joel to my list of Worst Performances, considering that your User name is "iloveidinamenzel". (Taye, is that you?)
Idina, although certainly talented and beautiful in her own way, is NO ACTRESS. She's awful! I guess some people like her singing (or yelling) voice, but come on. She can't act! All you have to do is go on to that other unmentionable website and watch a clip of Julia Murney or two, and you'll see how the role of Elphaba SHOULD be played. It really makes quite a difference when you have a TRAINED actor and singer in the role.
I know. I know. Let the onslaught begin.
Itty Bitty Geisha?
Toyland?
Gypsy Pasadoble?
Just a few popular favorites...
Dirty Rotten Scoundrel - I said Tony Danza in The Producers.
istillbelieve24601 - Rosie O in Fiddler was good. She acted the role very well and although she can't sing, she can pass for what she did. Was she amazing? No. But I think she was pretty good.
Harvey in Fiddler was magnificent! Harvey as Tevye is one of those things...you either love it or you hate it.
