lets all help this show

Hey everyone, there are still tons and ton of tickets available for this show. It's not about the producer's past, lets support the cats and crew!!!  I saw it in CHI and it's not great, but it deserves a chance people!

It might help if you put the shows name (Paradise Alley? Square? Yard?) in the thread title.

Anyways, this is a Broadway show, not a local school or a volunteer charity show.  It ain't the audience's job to prop it up.

“The Show” is White Hamilton, performed in a church basement with a single piano accompaniment. It has zero budget and Washington is inexplicably dressed as the Quaker Oats Man.

Gotta support the cats!

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

I had no plans of seeing this show, but I'm all about supporting cats, so maybe I will buy a ticket now!

I am actually going to see this show and, unlike some people, I don't feel the need to be rude to you. I enjoyed the music they've released so far and am excited to see Joaquina Kalukango's performance. But you aren't really selling it. The lack of capitalization or the name of the show in the post title, the fact that you admit you didn't think it's so good, the lack of any reason besides supporting the cast and crew, the fact that despite giving no reasons to so support this show you highlight the reason to not see this show... try to be specific and explain why people should want to see Paradise Square!

Paradise Square

I'm seeing it the first week of May. But, I see no ads for it, a pathetic mailer that expires in early April, and nothing in the way of advertising. I just like original material and the talent/songs are beautiful.

Do a better job hyping up your show Bobby, because this ain't it. Paradise Square

I didn't like CATS when I saw it. What makes you think I'd like this?

We're allowed to treat shills any way we want.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Hey, Garth doesn't have money for advertising so why would you expect him to have enough to buy top quality shills? You get what u pay for, ya know.

I didn't even know it was a musical until I saw something in an article that mentioned it.

Hahaha. Love it Dolly, sounds fun! Marianne, that is crazy but totally understandable. There has been sadly zero buzz about it around New York sad

It needs slam-dunk reviews to stay afloat past May. Paging Dougal Flopguy…

I'm really concerned about this show.  I mean I feel.obligated to support this show even though "it's not great, but it deserves a chance "..If the show doesn't succeed, there will be all those cats with no.place to go and maybe even unable to stand up because they need support.  Heaven forfend! This could be a tragedy feline proportions!

People, go out there and support a cat or maybe buy crutches for it.  Then take the cats to see SHEN YUN at Lincoln Center so they'll feel better.

Why should people pay to see a show that’s “not great”.

#23

To pay or not to pay, that is the question.
