i havent seen many shows so all my choices come from the same show. From the current tour of RENT: Andy Meeks, Damien D Smith and Aswad. From RENT on broadway: Sebastian Arcelus.
You've got to fight for every dream 'cause who is to know which one you let go would have made you complete.
kita, you are such a renthead! I luv it! Silly girl! I knew you would say Andy, I also knew Dan wouldn't be on there cuz of the pants incident.. tee hee.. you make me gigle uncontrolably!

"Someday I'm going to have a baby and I'm gonna name her L'il Mimi Marquez and I and will sing to her every day and when she's a toddler I will say "L'il Mimi Marquez, clad only in a bubble diaper, will perform her famous play pen handcuff dance to the sounds of breast milk being pumped!" ~Kringas
All of the Movin Out cast, especially John Selya. Adam Pascal, also. He took two pictures with me, hugging me, signed 2 things, put up with my mom not knowing how to work the camera and me crying hysterically stammering, "I love you so much. You are amazing," and my mother saying, "No offense, but she plays your music so often I'm starting to get sick of your voice. Don't get me wrong, you have a beautiful voice, but it's all I hear!" So yea, Adam.
Megan Mullally as Karen Walker on Will and Grace: "Tell me more. Tell me more. Like does he have a car?"
Definitely: Adam Pascal (met him 3 years ago, took like 3 pics and talked to my parents for a while.. and then in august met him again and he talked to my friend and I for like 10-15 mins before the show and took pics and gave autographs again.. soo sweet) Daphne Rubin-Vega (now a pretty good friend of mine and she ALWAYS makes time for me and my friends) Kristin Chenoweth (only met her once but her dog was so darn cute and we took pics and talked about the tonys and she autographed my TONY magazine) Sebastian LaCause (didn't meet him at the stage door, but I met him at a concert and he talked with me and gave me his autograph and we took pics... and then a couple hours later when I was leaving and he was still sitting at his table he waved goodbye and winked) John Jeffrey Martin

Kelly Karbacz, who's the current Maureen in RENT. That girl. I can't even begin to tell you how nice she is. Seriously, there's no person I've ever met in a show that's as nice as her.
Lisa Brescia was also one of the nicest people I've met.
Adam Pascal was awesome, Jeremy Kushnier is always so nice, and last weekend I was SHOCKED as to how nice Drew Lachey is.
Someone said Melanie Brown earlier... heh, when she shoves you out of the way because she's in a hurry, you'd think a little differently.
And I have no complaints about Idina Menzel.
"The tick BOOM tick BOOM is so loud I can't hear the rain on the grass. I can't hear the wind. I'm about to scream. But I realize I'm not alone."
"I've heard it said that people come into our lives for a reason, bringing something we must learn, and we are lead to those who help us most to grow if we let them and we help them in return" Galinda
Put this on the "meanest" thread, but everyone from Q was really sweet. I told Barrett Foa how happy I was we got to see him (b/c really, I would have been happy to stare at him, no music, no puppets for 2 hours!!--and on top of that he was incredible in the show!) and he was really gracious and adorable and I kind of want to take him home and make him soup.
I'm probably going to be completely alone on this one but for me... Idina Menzel was the absolute nicest person to me. When she got to me in line at the stage door after the show, I said something to her at the stage door and she started to cry because she was so moved. She then gave me a hug, took a picture with me and kissed me on the cheek after saying something very sweet in my ear. She was incredibly sweet and gracious and humble with me. And the next time I went back, she even remembered me.
Other nice people: Sutton Foster the whole cast of Brooklyn Kristin Chenoweth Jennifer Cody (I told her how i met her after i saw her in hair at North shore and she freaked out) Harvey Marisa Janet Winoker (she took a picture with my two friends who are both really short and she kept cracking jokes) Ruthie Henshall Maggie Benjamin Lambert Moss Linda Eder
Any of the people who came out of the stage door when I saw the LSoH tour in Dallas. Of course, I don't have anyone else to really compare them to, but they were very gracious (and the guy playing the dentist even let me borrow a sharpie )
Here in this cold white room tied up to these machines, it's hard to imagine life as it used to be. Laughing, screaming, tumbling queen... Like the most amazing light show you've ever seen. Whirling, swirling, never blue... How could you go and die? What a selfish thing to do...
RIP Jason
i just saw rent today and met drew lachey and jeremy kushnier. they were polite and kind. they didn't blow us off and my friends and i had a nice conversation. they were very gracious and gladly posed for a picture.
Well, I haven't been to many stage doors on Broadway, but i have to say that Adam Pascal was incredibly sweet to me after Cabaret and was impressed that he had such a big fan from Greece ! Damn me, for not having my camera with me that day Also John Stamos was fantastic and even spoke some Greek to me and my friend. And Eartha Kitt was the sweetest and she even stayed and chatted for about 10 minutes with us !! Also, Ashley Judd was very nice !
This summer at CMU she visited and gave a master class. SHe gave the class after an 11 hour rehearsal for CLO's Me and My Girl, and was gracious enough to stay for the reception. There must have been at least eighty to a hundred students there, and Ms. Foster was kind enough to stay until every last person who wanted a photo, signature, and/or hug, got one. She was supposed to leave much earlier than she actually did, but she seemed to care so much about staying for eveyone who had waited in line for her.
The masterclass itself was Amazing, and she told many fun stories about herself, and her career (complete with impersonations of herself at various stages.)
Truly a classy woman, and a fantastic actress.

For heaven's sake, don't try to be cynical. It's perfectly easy to be cynical.

"Nothing is an accident, We are free to have it all, We are what we want to be, It's in ourselves to rise or fall!!" - "Fortune Favors the Brave" from Aida - the love that never died
Even though i'd love to say Idina....i think probably Michelle Federer or Jennifer Laura Thompson. They were both really sweet but Idina was in a rush because she was the last one out lol! Idina was still so nice when i met her before the show tho because no one else was around....does that count?? Michelle was really nice to everyone and didnt mind waiting for me to get another pen out when mine ran out of ink!
