The Kennedy Center is millions in debt and now an excellent box office attraction has cancelled costing them a bunch of money. "Hamilton" scheduled performances were going to be from Mar 3-Apr 26, 2026. Sure, the Kennedy Center gets funded other ways also but a big show like "Hamilton" sure helps the budget. It is going to be a long 4 years at the Kennedy Center if other shows do the same thing.

If so, then it will be one of the rare instances that FOX News and other conservative outlets report the truth, because that's exactly how we feel about the VP and his wife. And I bet JD cares about he and his wife getting booed more than you think. Maybe it's just that he had to take a last-minute pee, but he was out of sight during the entire intermission and didn't return to his seat until the music had started again.

Agree to disagree. You don't get to where JD has gotten in life andlet being booed bothered you. In fact, some people (especially athletes) sometimes use it as motivation against their opponents. Cmon, be honest do you really think JD and his wife expecting a warm welcome - ha ha. Come on, you can't really believe that. Desperation to be loved & accepted and whining when it doesn't happen is a core tenet of modern conservatism. Vance (a man with a case Imposter Syndrome you can see from the Moon) demonstrated that himself a short time ago when he demanded President Zelenskyy act "more grateful" if the US was going to keep helping him fight the fascist army that's been trying to kill him for three years.

You are kidding, I hope. The entertainment industry is liberal. JD and his wife are in the "Kennedy Center" which is named after a beloved Democratic POTUS. Trump has just "taking over" the Kennedy Center which to put it mildly is not popular and you think JD thought he was going to be "loved/accepted" by that audience. Really -lol

Do you think that if Kamala Harris attended a public event where MAGA voters predominated - let's say a NASCAR race - that there wouldn't be a lot of booing?

I am absolutely certain there would be booing and public swearing and maybe worse.

The press release said he wanted to "straighten out" the Kennedy Center Awards. Does that mean no more gay artists are eligible? Only "artists" who support his agenda can be nominated in the future? If so, call them the Trump Awards.

Lincoln Center should take over the National Arts Awards for Opera, Theatre, Symphony, Movies, Popular Music -- the Lincoln Center Jackie Kennedy Awards.

His options for honorees for four years are limited. I can't imagine some of the people he wants honored actually accept it.
