We knew this was coming. At least it had quite a nice run. Saget did sh*t for this show.

I'm really sad. I wanted to take a friend, but Friday night on, he's away for winter break.

I got to see the tour a couple of weeks ago in Philly. I never saw it on Broadway. I thought the show was fantastic! It's a shame that it is closing.

No surprise here. I'm sure going to miss it! It is closing a bit faster than I expected. Oh well, it had a good (enough) run!

Aw sad day! It really is a great show and I'm going to miss seeing that marquee in Times Square. I'm glad I got to see the OBC last year. I wanted to see Mara Davi in it, but oh well
The show had a good run.
I wonder what will go into the Marquis next?

Cry baby?! well...don't get your hopes up for it being great.

I didn't think it would close *this* soon. Ah well. I really wanted to see it again, too.

What a great show! I had the privileged to see it during it's out of town tryouts and have always wondered what the heck they did to improve it for NY. I thought it was pretty darn near perfect. All my best to the cast!

Love this show. Saw the OBC and had a wonderful night in the theater. This show actually gave me hope that we might see new material on Bway, not reworked movies and jukebox musicals. Bob, Beth, Sutton were terrific! "Drowsy" will also remain close to my heart.

Saw it in June of 2006 3 days before the Tonys. Loved this show. We get the tour in 2008 in Denver and can't wait to see it.

I just saw it last night for the second time and it made me remember how much I loved this show. I planned to see it one more time before it closed, not realizing how soon that would be
I still may have to.

Yeah, geez . . . and all of those who told me that when two people from the show told me it was closing; that I was delusional and/or gullible! They didn't a reason to lie.

So much for any hopes of Marie Osmond getting a chance of playing The Drowsy Chaperone on Broadway. Maybe the tour?
Here's hoping.

Sad but expected news. Saw the OBC in July 2006 and loved it. Though the Broadway production is closing, the show is touring and I suspect "Drowsy" will be a popular title in regional and community theatres.

I would totally go hear a 14 year old sing "As We Stumble Along"

I guess the silver lining is knowing that every regional theater in the country will be wanting to do this in the next three years.
I think it will ultimately be a summer stock staple.

Maybe at the end of the last performance, Bob could accidentally drop the record and it could break as a kind of symbolic gesture.
