The difference in ticket price can be explained by proximity to the stage, but how did I get three times more "service" than you, Steve? Did I get a complimentary flute of champagne or something?

I am pretty sure ATG’s service fee is a percentage of the money per ticket - so more expensive ticket = bigger service fee. Ticketmaster is the same way. For what it is worth, my service fees were $14.28 (balcony row B).
