Hamilton: The Revolution (colloquially referred to as The Hamiltome) is scheduled to be released tomorrow, Tuesday, April 12. Some people will probably say this conversation should be limited to the main Hamilton thread, but I think there has been—at least from what I've seen—so much hype around this book that a new thread for thoughts and comments is warranted.

Who else has pre-ordered?"
Me. It's scheduled to arrive tomorrow per my shipment tracking on Amazon. And it's a timely release for me personally because I just saw the show Saturday night (Jonathan Groff's last performance, which was kind of cool. Never saw anyone's final curtain call before.).

Yes same! I'm so excited for it...it looks really beautiful from all of the sneak peaks Lin has been sharing on Twitter.

Just in time for the publication is this excellent Buzzfeed article by Lin's coauthor on the Hamiltome, Jeremy McCarter:
Why Hamilton Matters: The story of Hamilton’s journey from concept to cultural phenomenon, as told by someone who has been in all of the room(s) where it happened. Even in Obama’s White House.
Just checked to see if mine had shipped and discovered an email saying my payment was declined! I pre-ordered this so long ago that my card expired and I forgot to update it with Amazon. Thank goodness for this thread or I might not have seen the email. All is well now. Whew!

I didn't even realize it was available to order that long ago! I preordered mine Christmas day, I can't wait to dig in tomorrow. Plus I'll finally have the sheet music on Wednesday!
"Contentment, it seems, simply happens. It appears accompanied by no bravos and no tears."
Genuine question: Where does Hamiltome come from? It's probably something really obvious, but I can't for the life of me think of what the 'tome' is referencing.
They/them.

I preorder both the print book and the iBook and am anxiously awaiting their release! I read the iBook preview the other am day and the book is stunning so far! Great photos and the notes on the lyrics are great!

Gah! So happy, just checked my email and I'll have BOTH the book AND the sheet music delivered tomorrow! (Whoop.)
One of the very few BOOKS I've NOT gotten on my kindle.....it has to be better in dead tree format!

Historically, these books don't get huge print runs and thus less remaindering in the past. They usually go from available to out of print without much (if any) of a discount phase in between...
Notadiva2, the same thing happened to me I updated my card, too, but Amazon says the book will be delivered on Thursday. Oh well. I'm really looking forward to reading it, whenever I get it!
I overheard some chatter about it at the Drama Bookshop yesterday. Apparently it is really gorgeous, and they have 1200 copies that are all spoken for (they even said something about having to buy out Barnes and Noble's stock?).
Apparently mine was delivered today?? Not sure because I had it delivered to my office and unfortunately I'm working from home today, but Amazon sent me a text saying it was delivered. Not sure how that works but I guess it will be waiting for me when I arrive!!
