If anyone else here is also only interested in one ticket, and wants to alternate in line, please let me know? Because I can’t get there until a bit later...

Thanks for that information. I’ll check out the line later, but I have two shows today so there isn’t any way I could stand there all day.
It might be me being hopeful but considering all the factors involved (ie. Be in the city today, don't have anything at 8pm, etc.), I'm wondering how many people are *actually* able to do this.

I read “once per performance” to mean once for Part 1 and once for Part 2, period, ever. But who knows. Maybe someone who knows how the Friday Forty works can clarify. I wanted to practice entering, but won’t do it until I know I can actually be here for a show that week.

Rush lines for other shows probably just cleared out...

Considering the fact they announced it on all of their social media and sent out emails to everyone on the mailing list I'd be shocked if the line isn't almost at capacity in the next 1 hour so. There are so many people in the immediate area alone of the theatre that people will easily spend all day to get the two parts for 40 bucks.

On the app you just pick what shows for the following week you can actually go to and you click enter. There's really nothing to practice.

I'm really surprised the production is doing it this way. It's frigging cold outside, and people could get exposure. Also, crowd control will be a nightmare. Third, scalpers will be out in droves.

The whole thing sounds miserable.

It's NYC. Those of who live in the area have stood in line for much less.
Good luck to anyone who us going to line up. I hope we see reports throughout the day. Stay warm everyone.
It's better they announced it day-of instead of prior. I remember for How to Succeed they gave away 100 free tickets and people stood overnight for them.

I still wish they would have waited instead of doing it freaking 12 hours in advance.

The line all ready spans the length of the theatre.
My friend is there now. She said there are about 60 people there now, and they gave out wristbands. Everyone with a wristband is guaranteed two tickets. So I guess you have to wait there still until 8, and with the wristband thing, you can't split the wait time.

Well, that sucks. I was gonna split the time with someone
Me too. I can't get there until 4 so I have really low expectations but I'm hoping for the best...

95 people now!
That line sounds absolutely miserable! I've already got my late March $20 per part tickets, so be on the lookout around then because I might have to sell the second ticket :)

Does anyone know if it’s 1200 tickets per part of 1200 tickets total?
If you have a wristband, why can't you leave the line and come back later? Isn't that the purpose of a wristband?
I just don't get the point or why the theatre would like to cause a headache for themselves with a mess of a line like that. It's not like the show needs the publicity to sell tickets.
Could have done the same thing they are doing except just say tickets are on sale now until they are sold out.

Is it possible for someone to get a wristband now and come back later, before 8?
Someone on Twitter asked about leaving the line and returning, and the response was that short breaks are allowed if someone holds your spot.

"If necessary." Because only silly people need bathroom breaks, I suppose.
Any idea how this stunt fits into the "deterring scalpers" scheme? I'm hoping the 1,200 tickets go to people who really want to see the show and not people who really want to resell at a huge markup...

If anyone inline needs only one ticket I will pay for
Your ticket if you can get two tickets. Also if you have wristbands why can’t you get offline and come back
