I’m sure they were, but that doesn’t make it good design work.

Surely I cannot be alone in thinking that giant rose photoshopped onto her head looks like a very silly rush job."
You're not, but in the movie, at least, Nick sends Fanny yellow flowers a couple of times. <shrug>

Thank God for that NY Times opinion piece smack dab on their main page! It was so, so needed.
One third of Pakistan is under water.
Looking outside today, it appears it is in fact, raining on her parade.

Will you be there tonight, or at Into the Woods to see their replacement cast?

It’s an opinion piece, a third from the bottom of their main digital page with the other op-eds. There is plenty of actual coverage of any number of the horrible things happening in the world.

Exactly! People these days will find any little thing to get offended or be in an uproar about.

Rain symbolizes rebirth and renewal. Often, a stunning rainbow and the warmth of the sun follow a gloomy hour of heavy rain. Rain is a sign of new beginnings, betterment, and hope.
Lea Michele, the Universe has your back.

Huh? I was just asking Catalano a question, and I wasn't joking in any way.

Rain is water and if you're not smart enough to carry an umbrella you'll get wet!
End of story.

Well, aren’t I the luckiest person in the world?! My partner’s sister had to give up a pair of tickets for Lea’s opening. I’ll be in the audience tonight!! Will be posting on here after!
Well, the production’s disappeared from the TKTS board for the first time since May. I know because I’ve used the app daily. And Into the Woods - a hit by most definitions - remains up for tonight and tomorrow’s matinee. So while it is premature to draw long term conclusions, the casting certainly points to improved box office. The goal all along.
Well, of course it’ll be seeing improved box office. It had middling to poor word of mouth and reviews, but the whole cast change saga suddenly made it the most talked about production since Broadway reopened. They couldn’t have devised better publicity if they tried.
The large panel that once featured the cartoon drawings has been replaced, folks. The show needed this revitalization.

It also needed someone that could do the score justice - LOL.

Having a competent leading lady will certainly help matters, but I stand by the fact that this production misdirected and is unbelievably cheap and chintzy from a design standpoint. The new marketing looks much better, though.

Perfect, but which Broadway diva would never allow a construction "seam" to bisect their face??
