Same. The Met Gala was a mix of live and pre-recorded segments and it seemed to be a smart move. 4 hours with little to no issues besides a few people talking over each other because of lag.
Is it back up? Can someone post a link? I just keep getting back to the same 6 minute failed start video.
There's a lot of humor to be mined from this livestream!
Raul E's silent monologue reminded me of the scene in the movie "Amadeus" where the king wants the music for ballet cut, so they do exactly that; they cut the music, but the ballet goes forward w/o music.
The continuation of filming Raul E's silent monologue after he knew there was no sound was priceless. Looked like something Jerry Lewis might perform in one of his comedy mime bits...
Now the link only shows the 6 insane minutes we had. Are they going to push a new one out?

Personally, i don’t care. But, they had time to plan for this. For theater, this is a big deal and you can tell as much by those who volunteered their time to participate.
This is amateur hour and a waste of time for many well respected professionals. This could have been managed better.
