The Met Gala was 90% live. They obviously have their act together.

There's a lot of humor to be mined from this livestream!
Raul E's silent monologue reminded me of the scene in the movie "Amadeus" where the king wants the music for ballet cut, so they do exactly that; they cut the music, but the ballet goes forward w/o music.
The continuation of filming Raul E's silent monologue after he knew there was no sound was priceless. Looked like something Jerry Lewis might perform in one of his comedy mime bits...

Yup. Really just the chorus and orchestral pieces were not. And Anna and her husband of course.

I love this "someone will be fired" & "where's the tech" stuff. It's literally Paul Wintorek in his bedroom guys...

They started a second stream and it only lasted two minutes before having to shut it down again. Third time is a charm, right?

Poor Steve...he has no patience for stuff like this

Who could tell what was being posted? Those posts were scrolling faster than the end credits of an "edited for television" movie on WGN... ![]()

I feel so sorry for everyone involved. Patti postponed screenshots showing everyone was zooming together earlier today.

This is amateur hour and a waste of time for many well respected professionals. This could have been managed better.
