I feel bad for them. Seems like Raul's microphone on his laptop or tablet/phone device was muted since we obviously couldn't hear him but who knows. Hopefully they'll fix this soon!
Since it's so close to 9pm I'll just watch the series finale of Homeland and watch Mandy Patinkin!
Happy belated birthday Stephen Sondheim!

Now it looks like they've even pulled the 6 minute video so assume they're putting something back up?

He managed to get some of the biggest theater performers sitting in front of a laptop just wondering WTF.

Gorlois said: "Is it actually live? I assumed Raul’s segments would be but everybody else would be pre-recorded...?"
Lin-Manuel tweeted something along the lines of "Raul, why didn't you prerecord like the rest of us?" which leads me to believe you're correct. I thought this was going to be akin to the Disney on Broadway concert for BC/EFA, where the recorded performance was woven in with Ryan McCartan's live hosting and interviews with some of the participants. Who knows, though.

"Video unavailable. This video has been removed by the uploader."
Sooooo... I'm guessing that all performances were to be like Schwartz' "All Things Bright and Beautiful" (which was really lovely), in that all performances were to be streamed from the individual performers' homes?
So calling it quits is pretty much minimal unplugging/packing up lighting and cords from performers' homes?
Posted: 4/26/20 at 9:04pm
now stating LIVE in 60 seconds
Posted: 4/26/20 at 9:04pm
I'm just watching the GLAAD livestream and hoping this will be figured out by tomorrow.
