I really feel like I'm about to cry.

What a terrible, terrible loss. She was a brilliant performer and a great woman. I will truly, truly miss her.

This is going to sound so corny, but I loved the Parent Trap newer movie. This is such a shock.

I read the reports and hoped her injury won't lead to this outcome. Truly a tradegy. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family in this extremely difficult time.

I feel so awful I missed out on her last performance. She was stunning in Cabaret and Streetcar.
Again, words cannot express how tragic this is.

I am so devastated and heart broken. She was a stunning and brilliant actress. I knew her from the Parent Trap at a young age and she was wonderful in that. I wish I could have experienced her on stage. It would have been magical.

Now I am truly regretting not seeing her in Night Music. What a terrible loss, not only for her family but for the entire theatre community.

Rest in peace, Ms. Richardson. It's weird... I don't know if I've ever felt this way after someone famous dying. Maybe it's because I am so attached to the 1998 production of Cabaret and her performance.

I'm just devastated. I can't believe that I saw her perform so brilliantly less than two months ago. I feel so honored that I got the privelege of seeing her light up the stage. She was one of the actors who inspired me to be an actor. I lament the beautiful work she surely would have done that the world will never get to experience.

My heart goes out to her family, her husband, and her children.
