As amazing as it’ll be to hear these two sing Agony together, wouldn’t it be great if this led to them working on some kind of original music together?! I know that’s now how this works but… I can dream. Joshua Henry’s album from last year was good and even though it’s been a decade since Gavin Creel’s last release I just started listening to Get Out and love it. At the very least Joshua Henry teased doing acoustic versions of ITW songs with the cast, so there’ll be that.

I probably missed it, but I don't remember there originally being a Thursday, June 30 matinee. Regardless one is listed now and has lots of great seats and much better prices than later in the run such as Row L Center Orchestra for $139.

Excellent casting! Do we know who's playing Jack's Mother?
Fun trivia: she was the only principal who didn't continue with GYPSY when it moved from Encores to Broadway (because she was playing the title role in the DROWSY CHAPERONE tour). Now it's the opposite :)

I always laugh when you can tell casting went for a "(blank) type". For example, multiple Elphabas playing Elsa, etc. Here, , Aymee Garcia who played Ann Herada's role on the tour of Cinderella replaces her here

Hopefully Ann is doing Schmigadoon season 2? If not, hope something else fabulous.
Of the new names, Nacy Opel is the only one I know. But I'm excited to see Aymee Garcia and Alysia Velez in the show! I'm sure they will be lovely additions to an already stellar cast.

Thrilled to be able to see Opel, though I have to admit, watching the Drag Race 92Y panel and hearing Jinkx Monsoon say they wanted to play the Stepmother in ITW made me secretly and quietly hope that would be an option! Bad timing with All Stars promo etc, I guess, but that would have been amazing.

With something like that you run into the problem of throwing off the calibration. You don't want a small role like the Stepmother to be a distraction in an ensemble piece.
