according to the NY Post. That means gridlock on Saturday afternoon, right?
A preview? He's not even going to wait until it opens?
I guess not. That area is going to be sheer pandemonium no doubt. If you don't have to be anywhere near there avoid it at all costs.
I thought Munoz was doing the Saturday matinees instead of Lin? Or is that only after they open?
I thought they're sold out for months? Maybe he's going to try the lottery?
I'm pretty sure the administration plans early enough in order to buy a ticket to something like this.

I'm pretty sure that because he's THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES he can get pretty much anything he wants including tickets to a sold out Broadway show.
Around these parts they call that POWER.

His daughter's interning for Lena Dunham. I'm sure she scored the tickets for him.

You have to wonder if Javilton is still going to be going on...
I'm sure it was harder for Michelle to get tickets for the Public run.

If I had known that, I would have run for president.
It's not too late to run in 2016.
I love the Obamas' continued and visible support of the theatre. This is absolutely a piece of American theatre that a head of state and cultural figure should see and support. And after all, the first public performance of any material from this show occurred at the White House for the President years ago. Has that ever happened before this?
Wondering if Munoz is or is not going on is missing the forest for the trees.

Vote for me for POTUS, because I really want to see Ellen Greene and Jake Gyllenhaal's "Little Shop of Horrors."
I mean come on Encores, 1 week in the middle of Summer and over July 4th? What's that all about?

I will be at Saturday's matinee. Guess I should get to the theater early. I wonder if Miranda will want to go on just so he can perform for the president. Kinda hope so. I
That may happen. Or, he may want to give Javier the thrill. We shall see.
I would think that Miranda would far prefer to sit with the president than perform for him.
It is worth remembering that this is the first Broadway musical in history to have its first public exposure at the White House.
I have tickets for this matinee and thrilled to get to be in the same audience with Obama. Couldn’t think of a better show for Obama to attend – so much cultural significance!
For anyone who has attended performances where the President (or past Presidents) have been in the audience - any tips on what time I should arrive?
I thought the alternate schedule was only for after the show opened?
I hope Javier goes on. Many people are saying he is better in the role. I can see that. LMM is a great writer but lots of people say he is the weakest out of the leading roles. I feel like LMM is gonna wear himself out. I can't see him doing the show for a long time.
I am jealous GilmoreGirlO2. I wish I had tix for that day just to be sitting in the same room as Obama! I have a huge crush on him!!!!!
"It's not too late to run in 2016."
Hell, everybody's doing it.
I was in the audue certainly with the Clintons, just last year. The show started a little late and intermission was a little longer, but no other differences.
Of course, I'm sure it's different with a sitting President, but they won't expect the audience.certainly to get there sooner than usual.
