Is there any other “flop” musical that people have time and time again tried to solve/fix?

Is this likely to transfer without Radcliffe?

Chess comes to mind. And people have also been messing with Follies on and off but it's not quite to this extent.

Jonathan Groff and Lindsay Mendez round out the Merrily We Roll Along NYTW revival which will transfer spring 2023 to The Hudson on Broadway"

Cool, so will it transfer to BWAY is the question?
This is going to be an impossible ticket.

I have seen three significantly different versions of Chess. It’s the only one I can think of.

Aren't they all a little old for these parts? Maybe Radcliffe who is 33 but the other two are pushing 40.

Just a heads up for those looking to buy tickets on September 21 - the NYTW website crashed for the first 15-20 minutes due to user traffic, and folks had trouble buying tickets. (I had to refresh my screen repeatedly in order to get my ticket purchase through.)
It seems to be fine now, but this may be a harbinger of things to come in September (unless NYTW improves its server capacity or implements a waiting room of some kind).

I believe it’s only certain tiered members only, no?
I received a mail from them yesterday saying that could buy tix (based on my membership) on Aug 24 at noon.
Yes, booking is open for just the premiere membership. You can upgrade for $75, though, and get tickets today.

Yeah, I think it’s only Premier memberships right now. Unless there was a glitch earlier today, the lower level membership sale starts Aug. 24 at noon. I tried logging in and buying just in case and it stopped me.

How can I buy? I’m a member but I’m told it’s Aug 24 for me to purchase.

What’s the price range for tickets? I know the release said starting at $145.

All tickets are showing up as $149 for me. Oddly enough, availability seems to be worst in January?

Probably need to upgrade your membership. Reach out to a membership coordinator to confirm. I sent my request for tickets at 1 and got confirmation by 230.
Edit to respond to price question: I think those who are booking today already had tickets ready for use as part of their membership, hence why all are priced at 145.

do you think the availability is so bad that I should upgrade my membership?
I decided to upgrade from the regular membership to premiere this morning because I didn't want to deal with any possible website issues on 8/24. I spent 15 minutes on hold, and then booked my seat easily with the very helpful agent. A friend sent me a photo of the seating chart for my proposed date/show ahead of time, and there was a good amount of availability at the time, but for me it was worth upgrading because I am coming out from California and really only had a few performances that I could attend. Seats are listed for $145 plus $4 in fees.

Eh, no, especially if you live in NYC. I'm just eyeballing this, but for most days, I see 40-60% availability. (The week after Thanksgiving is a bit tight, and also a few days in mid-December.) Maybe Premier members are just slower to book their tickets, and availability will change, but my guess is that there should be something available for the next level of members.
If you're out of state (like I am), and don't have date flexibility, might be worth upgrading to buy tickets now for peace of mind. Otherwise, I would just log on next week, and get ready to refresh your browser a few times. (Highly recommend doing this on a desktop.)
